you spell out “you’re cute” . almost like a secret only he knows. & he could only look away with a dumb, hardly concealed smile on his face. “i love you” 🤟 in quick passing when you are both across the room. “you look pretty” when he wakes up in the morning, squinting at your face.

you do it when he least expects it too. it is absolutely hilarious when people stare you both when you burst out into laughter at his reaction.

It takes a moment for her to collect herself before she takes your hand and leads you to the balcony for a moment of calm. As you both look out at the vast mountain scape you don't realize she drew closer, her hand brushing against your cheek. When you turn around to look at her, you see her eyes are fully focussed on the touch of her skin on yours, a hypnotizing warmth radiating from her, her eyes slightly glowing.

The Mage - they chuckle "Is that so?" a mischievous grin following as they take a step back, keeping your hands on their face, their own hands casting a little ball of leaves and flowers. Your both's eyes fascinated by the flowing little planet spinning. Then they look back at you, the magical sphere disappearing "You gave me purpose." the lean closer, their forehead touching yours.

The Mercenary - "What's with you and these strange things you say lately?" They grab your hands and remove them from their face, staring at you in confusion and disbelief. But then, you look hurt - shit. "I- I am sorry." they mumble. This just came unexpected and never had anybody said anything like this before. They have a hard time believing you mean it, still, after all that you have been through. They sigh. Stepping closer again and embracing you in a warm hug. A hug they learned you needed... and them too. "You are everything to me..." then they kiss your forehead.

The Knight - They need a moment to process what you said. You can see tears building in their eyes, just when they lower to their knees. Your hands still on their face, they grab them firmly, leaning into them, closing their eyes. You get down to their level and brush your thumb over their cheek, gently removing a rolling tear. They open their eyes just to find you looking at them already. Within moments you are on your back, their lips pressed against yours, their body atop with an undeniable urgency.

And as to answer your question, I think it depends on what your and your loved one's love language is. My boyfriend's love language is physical touch and bullying so that's why he enjoys tickling me and watching me suffer that much. I also enjoy that and find it adorable. That's why this arrangement works for us.

However I don't think there are any easy way outs in any type of relationships. If you gotta argue you need to argue sometimes. The tickling or any other type of physical touch or affection just seems to show your partner that you love them and of course that would make a better impact on your relationship compared to not being touchy.

To me tickling and constant physical touch is definitely something that bounds me to him because it makes me feel safer within his presence. So yes I can say so I think

happy belated halloween 👻 not gonna lie, i have never watched monster house before . so i’m basing this off of what i’ve read so far & my very limited knowledge (+ allusions to ghostface)

the idea of monsterhouse!scara is actually really cool when you think about it. scara, a spirit, merged with a house and is only killed once his ‘heart’ is destroyed. (and the fact that in movie, the heart is the furnace) .

but in my twist, what if instead, scara was your late ex fiancé . a vengeful spirit buried under thick cement & attached to the very house you once constructed & treasured together

visiting back, you already heard of the absurd rumors surrounding the house: the light flickering despite no electricity running, the mysterious noise that emerges from the house, weird sightings of a man wandering around - the list goes on.

guided by nostalgia & bit of grief, you decided to rent the place - pricing was unsurprisingly cheap & you were reassured that will still be able to care for it.

little did you know that you would become very the trigger that brings scaramouche’s spirit to wake from slumber. the furnace seemingly lighting up on its own the moment you stepped inside.

but then weird occurrences started to appear — missing people mysteriously ‘shallowed’ up by the door, the windows hastily cracked open, almost like it is staring at you as you leave, and a cold touch brushing over your skin.

it wasn’t until you hit your breaking point that you decide to investigate if you are truly out of your mind or the house is becoming a sentient being.

(you eventually find out that in order to destroy the spirit was to destroy it’s ‘heart’.)

but before you could do so, a phone ring cuts through your thoughts.
