We all haven't been together like this since your quinceañera all that time ago.

[Nat stares off for a moment, recalling just how much time had passed. He was still living in Sinnoh at the time, with only half the gym badges in his possession that the region supplied. It really was a long time since they all were together in one spot, without missing anyone.]

[A whistle from a short distance away gets his attention, Nat doing a double take as he spots the origin of the whistle.]

Nat: I can't believe you're sending me to the kid's table, I'm not THAT much younger than you guys.

We like to say around here that the beach is like a therapist's office, nothing a full beach day can't fix for us.

[He chuckled a bit, shaking his head.]

Geez, which ones aren't we talking about at that point. For the most part they seem to get along with him, he's got this one basilisk of a beast that doesn't like him for whatever reason, likes to call her Doña Diabla when referencing her.

No offense on the fragility thing, it's pretty accurate. Boy's more scars than human at this point.

[Part of Gabe's response was of amusement, but another was as if he was indirectly scolding his cousin-not that he would heed the words anyway if he had heard them.]

His dad and his grandfather raised dragons. It was kind of instilled to him, especially being raised around them too. Sometimes I worry though... I can trust that he knows himself, but I wonder if his choice to take the path of a champion was his own or if he was pushed in that direction.

He looks up to two champions in particular who are known for their dragons. Cynthia has a Garchomp that's been known to sweep people's hopes and dreams alongside their teams. Then of course, there's Lance. Man's never done anything to me but I just don't like his vibe.

[He shook his head as if getting a bitter taste off his tongue.]

I believe in him, I'm happy to know that he's had a dream to chase for so long. But I worry what will happen if he were to ever achieve that emulation. Once he's like them, what does he have to look forward to after that? He doesn't know himself, not all the way.

To me, it's like the dragons are a way to cope with it. He doesn't know what he wants entirely, kind of taking things as they come. In the times I've had to work with them in pokemon centers years back, I always heard the same thing-dragons are some of if not the most mysterious type out there. No one knows what's going on with them, and I think he really identifies with that after everything that's happened. Not that he would say that though.

( @asktheisle ) Gabriel had a few moments to step around from the bar, still within eyesight of it to return back if he was needed. He leaned on the opposite side of the tree that Slime Boi was resting under, a twinge of an amused smile on his face.

"Y'know I've never seen a Goomy as chill as you, and my cousin is constantly around dragons so I've seen my fair share. What brings you out over here aside the vibes?"

Slime Boi: It’s tough having to deal with it all sometimes. So, I was told to go have a bit of time. Somewhere where I can’t worry about things much. And this beach is perfect. The vibes are most immaculate. Just wanna wind it back to the part with your cousin and dragons. What kinda dragon types we talking about? Because I’ve met a wide variety and a lot of them can be dangerous. I know humans are, well, more fragile than Pokémon. No offence. Why dragons? What’s the deal there?

okay I have to preface this with I don't really like Marinette and Adrien's costumes. I just really like how Gabe's turned out which is why I'm posting it. I was going to redo their costumes before posting it, but I've been drawing for 8 hours straight and there's other stuff I need to get done today XP.

In this AU, a kwami has to willingly give you its power, which is why Gabriel has that device on his chest, to forcibly extract the power Nooroo refused to give. Plus he can fly, because I think that's cool.

I don't know exactly how he akumatizes people yet. I still like the butterfly idea, but instead of the staff he uses in the show, I think he has an apparatus of some kind that transforms a butterfly into an akuma. Probably much bigger than a staff lol.

I haven't talked a lot about Adrien yet, but I think I'll talk about them (yes them) when I redesign their and Marinette's costumes. I'll probably do each individually so I can expand on their character.

[This time around Luxu was able to join the others in their preparations for the festivities, making the trip to Alola with Gabe and Oscar as they met up with Nat to plan. Even with how Nat had been up to then, he could muster enough energy and willpower to lend a hand. Besides, there were customs to tend to.]

[The younger 'rai watched as bottles were sorted into boxes, a variety of decorations on groups of them. Gabriel pointed to each set, explaining what made them different.]

Gabe: Some of them are to sell around to others here in Alola, some are to gift, and some are for ourselves. Marking the bottles makes it easy to remember which is which, since some batches are a little better than others. It's pretty hard to find the difference though, since the quality is pretty level across the board.

[He then gestured to a lone bottle that sat on its own on the nearby table, the bottle decoration somewhat worn compared to the others.]

[He grabbed a few small glasses and poured a small amount, handing one each to Nat and Oscar. This version wasn't quite the kind Luxu was ready to handle, but the young Darkrai took no offense to it. He was content enough with having his curiosity acknowledged, no matter how frequent his questions were.]

[Luxu watched as Gabe poured the rest of the bottle-a majority of its contents-onto the ground, perplexed. He had just said it was the best of the best, why was he wasting it?]

[Once the bottle was empty and placed at the base of the tree, Gabe sat down in the grass and looked over to the young 'rai.]

Gabe: You're old enough to understand I think. Think of it as an offering, to those who have moved on. I'm not exactly in the same situation as Nat'a, who doesn't talk to his family. Mine are...

[He casually gestured upwards, as if weaving his hand through the breeze that had blown through.]

Gabe: My dad taught me how to make this specific recipe. Every time I make it, I leave the best to him. This is also the tree that my mom tended to every chance she got, so that's why I do it in this specific spot.

[The Darkrai wasn't sure what to make of it. It wasn't something he could wrap his head around. He couldn't imagine a life without his own father, let alone any of them. The thought hurt him to his very core, unsure of what to do.]

[But he did what he could, wasting no time in wrapping his arms around the other human with the beginnings of a smile.]

Luxu: Well... at least you still have us, right...?

[The gesture caught him off guard for a quick moment, Gabe relaxing with a soft smile moments after.]

Yeah, I'll always have you guys.

Times the Akuma Class Had Each Other’s Backs

Hey, folks! These are some old prompts for the Akuma Class that were in my notes! They were originally supposed to be shorts, but who knows? Maybe I’ll do some one day! Enjoy! @artzychic27 @imsparky2002

It should come as no surprise to you all that the akuma class absolutely despises Gabriel. For one thing, he’s a neglectful father who rarely gives his son the time of day, and for another, he’s an asshat who forced his son into a career that he doesn’t want. There have been so many breakouts from Adrien’s bedroom to take him to do something fun, or just trolling the heck out of Gabe in any way they possibly can. They plan to torment him until he gives up custody to The Gorilla.

It’s the sad truth that not all teachers have their students’ best interests at heart, and this was sadly the case with Kim and DuPont’s (now former) math teacher for their grade. He would constantly cruelly berate the young athlete and tell him he was an imbecile and would never leave middle school once the other students had left. He gave Kim extra work he wasn’t equipped to understand, and offered no kind of assistance. And when the other kids were there, he would constantly single Kim out, calling on him when he knew he was unprepared. Eventually though, the rest of the class caught on and all began taking notes and recording what they were witnessing. After a week or two, they reported their findings to the school board, and the teacher lost his employment. And when Kim’s parents were called in…the entire school could hear Mai screaming in furious Vietnamese.

It’s not rocket science that having your work stolen really hurts, and Max knows this firsthand. He worked for weeks on a new software format that would speed up processing to an insane degree, and was going to present it to a prestigious tech institution. Only for the program to get stolen by some jerks from another class who wanted the position for themselves. Thankfully, the akuma class is always prepared and had proven records of Max working on the program, such as photos and video, showing that it was his. They’ve done the same thing with jerks who’ve tried to steal or trace Nath’s art.

Whenever Rose can’t come to class because she’s having an episode of her condition, her classmates set up tablet with a video call and place it in her seat next to Juleka so she can feel like she’s in class with them. They also take extra notes just in case the connection goes out and she misses something.

Juleka’s first professional modeling gig was a joyous occasion…and one that warranted a whole boatload of stress. Juleka nearly worked herself into an anxiety attack on the day the shoot was scheduled…until she saw the boatload of encouraging messages from her classmates and the rest of the Girl Squad there to accompany her. The class does the same thing when Mylene is nervous about speaking for one of her charities or going on stage.

Marinette was overjoyed when she was nominated to take part in a prestigious fashion competition…only to be consumed by anxiety when she discovered she would be up against professional designers who had entire teams at their disposal! Thankfully, she has a squad of dedicated friends who were willing to learn how to put dresses together, no matter how many times they pricked themselves or had to redo their work. They absolutely kicked ass and all the other designers were embarrassed they were beat by a group of teens.

(Here’s the big one!) We all know teens can be stupid little shits, and this was certainly the case with some of Ivan’s neighbors. The three assholes, like a bunch of dickheads, decided to entertain themselves by throwing rocks from their mom’s garden to scare a group of little kids who were playing in the nextdoor yard. Well, this was the Bruel’s house and Sasha happened to be among those kids…and one of the rocks hit her in the side of the head. Hearing his little sister sobbing from inside the house while he’d been helping Mylene (who was over at the time) make the kids something for lunch, Ivan came back out to see what was going on…and completely lost it. After Mylene took Sasha inside and called an ambulance because her head was bleeding, Ivan blew up at the three boys, demanding to know what the hell was wrong with them. Of course, they decided to use this outburst to claim he had been threatening them. Of course the parents believed them, despite the testimonies from the other children (Kiran and the Cesaire twins) of what had happened, and actually threatened to sue and posted a warning on the neighborhood Twitter that the people next door had a ‘very aggressive son’… only to be forced to take it down and apologize when the akuma class (as well as the other three classes in the grade) all left comments saying that was total bullshit…and Max got ahold of security footage from the neighbors behind the Bruels, permitting Sabrina to get her dad involved. Sasha ended up having to stay in the hospital for a day or two, getting stitches and making sure there were no internal injuries to her head. (Thankfully, she was clear) But when she got home, the entire akuma class had made a ‘Get Well Soon’ card for her with personal messages from each of them! Marinette even made her a cute Sulley Mini Plushy, (Monsters Inc is her favorite movie) and Nath drew a picture of her as a princess superhero (what she says she wants to be when she grows up!) And don’t worry, those three idiots got in HUGE trouble. Let’s just say, Galina and Iosif were NOT happy with them…or their parents for that matter. (And it turns out the rest of the class had gone around talking to the neighbors and it turns out these kids had a history of problem behavior that their parents never did anything about!)

Family sticks together! (The Sasha one is based a little on personal frustration, because stuff like this happens, sadly more than once where I live. As someone who loves and works with young children, I HATE that the idiots who do that kind of stuff GET AWAY WITH IT. The last ended how I wish these situations would most of the time!) In the pokemon AU would Gabe be a Cyrus esque villain wanting to redo a universe for him and his wife or an Lusamine esque wanting to revive someone so badly they're okay with not following morals and getting corrupted by his pokemon while in it?

Also we should give him an ultra beast. As a treat.

I'm leaning toward a more sympathetic Gabe so more Lusamine than Cyrus.

Like something has Emilie in a magic coma thing I think Darkrai can do this but we could also have whatever happened to the dad in the Entei movie where she's yeeted to another dimension.

Anyway Gabriel would be searching out any Legendary/Mythical he can in an attempt to get her back.

Just gonna sit her in silence and pain thinking about a seraphim reader x archangel Gabriel (spn) where they’ve been together since the creation of time and she breaks down when Lucifer “kills him” for the first time but she can do nothing but watch until the angels fall and she has to join sam dean and cas keeping her and Gabriel’s love to herself.

Only for her to break down when she hears about dean and Lisa way back when. And tell the boys about her and Gabe. Then later on down the line finding out that asmodeous has him and she helps them break him out and they rekindle as shes the only one he will let touch him in his deshevled state.

They disappear together before redoing the boys to help fight Micheal and discovering the archangel blade which in turns leads to her and Gabe arguing about why he didn’t come to find her before asmodeous kidnapped him which leads to him confessing anything an every thing for her despite them having been together more literal billions of years. And leading into a spicy scene of them before they decide to help the Winchesters and cas to cage other dimension Micheal.

In turn of them getting the apocalypse civilians back to the safer world chuck pops in and in going to force you back by rerouting your brain but in order to get away from his grasp apolcoyse micheal stabs you afraid of what you as a high ranking angel would be called of at full god power pissing chuck off but devastating Gabriel crying over you for a few seconds before Gabe gets up and is about to kill Micheal when he stabs him as well leaving the blade in.

As Gabe falls to the ground he crawls to you taking your hand in his kissing the back of it like he always would before seeing chuck take out Micheal and walk to him but not wanting to be a part of chucks fucked up tantrum he pulls the blade out before chuck can do anything. Leaving you both holding hands dead in a dying apocalypse world.

Just a thought teehee.
