muse: Invader Tak
BASICS
▸ is your muse tall/short/average? Tak is considered average height. She sits at exactly 5′0″. Although it is small compared to other species. It is pretty normal among Irken kind. ▸ are they okay with their height? While height doesn’t exactly bother her personally -- height plays a huge role in the hierarchy of her species. Tak believes she is more than capable in taking roles that someone of her height isn’t often seen with. ▸ whats their hair like? Tak does not have hair and neither does anyone of her race. However, while she does appear to have hair in her disguised human form. It is simply just not real. Despite this, it does take on a short, messy appearance. Something that won’t particularly be interesting or distinct among the human population. ▸ do they spend a lot of time on their hair/with their grooming? While she doesn’t necessarily spend too much of her time on this -- she does just enough to keep herself clean and professional. ▸ does your muse care about their appearance? In some ways yes. It is entirely dependent on whether she is presenting herself to someone of higher power or not. If she were meeting with the control brains or the tallest. She’d 100% be straightening every wrinkle in her uniform and making sure her antennas are properly curled. ▸ does your muse care about what others think about them? If she feels they are inferior -- no. Only those who are above her are worth worrying and/or caring about.
PREFERENCES
▸ indoors or outdoors? Outdoors. After being trapped in her training quarters for many days on planet Devastis during a power outage. She had grown to hate places that entrap or surround her. ▸ rain or sunshine? Sunshine. After learning that Earth’s acidic rainwater burns her skin -- sunshine will always be her preferred choice. ▸ forest or beach? Forest. Less people inhabit these areas. ▸ precious metals or gems? Depends entirely on the type of metals she’s dealing with and what she can build or create out of them. ▸ flowers or perfumes? Flowers. Perfumes burn her throat. ▸ personality or appearance? Appearance is everything for her in most cases. Taking on a professional appearance is a huge preference for her. Most should keep this in mind when approaching her or wanting to make a good impression. ▸ being alone or being in a crowd? She’s adaptable, but very much prefers to be alone. ▸ order or anarchy? Order among her own terms ▸ painful truths or white lies? Painful truth. She can easily see through most lies. ▸ science or magic? Science. Tak does not believe in magic. ▸ peace or conflict? Irken’s are not taught how to form or create peace -- only conflict. Something immediately established to her on the day she hatched. ▸ night or day? Nights. They make her feel calm and not on edge like she is on most days. ▸ dusk or dawn? Dawn. ▸ warmth or cold? She is adaptable to both (thanks to the advanced tech of her PAK), but she does prefer warmth over the cold. ▸ many acquaintances or a few close friends? Many acquaintances (or pawns might be a better word for this). ▸ reading or playing a game? Reading. It grants her more knowledge than what a game could ever offer her.
QUESTIONNAIRE
▸ what are some of your muse’s bad habits? Her anger. It seems to be a permanent part of her, but it really isn’t. It’s become a bad habit to be bitter with anyone she meets due to a lack of trust among her people. (More bad habits to come tbh - once i figure them out)
▸ has your muse lost anyone close to them? how has it affected them? When she was separated from her ship and had to dismantle her SIR unit aboard (aka MiMi). It was like losing a part of them. These occurrences only fueled her desire to destroy Earth and ruin Zim’s mission tenfold.
▸ what are some fond memories your muse has? TBA (there are very few fond memories Tak has. Her life was very brash up to this point, but I will add it to this post when something comes up) ▸ is it easy for your muse to kill? Very much so. I wouldn’t suggest willingly getting on her bad side.
▸ what’s it like when your muse breaks down? Unhinged laughter or angered screaming. Emotions are hard to decipher and she often does not know how to deal with something that deeply upsets her. It was only recent that she’s learned what tears were and what caused them. Emotions are a sign of weakness on her home planet and the fact that she experiences breakdowns and/or emotions in general only serves to make it 100% worse. ▸ is your muse capable of trusting someone with their life? The only ones she trusts with her life are Takka and MiMi. Although both are inorganic -- she believes it’s better to trust things that are more machine than anything. They are less prone to betrayal or abandonment. ▸ what’s your muse like when they’re in love? Tak has never experienced love and I’m not entirely she if she ever will. As bitter as she is -- finding someone she finds generally interesting or worth her time will be something very difficult to find (considering Tak’s stubborn personality). However, I’d imagine her to be the painfully awkward type when in love.

headcanon ;; Irkens don’t normally know how to process or properly deal with their emotions. Thus the reasons why some tend to be loud, obnoxious, and over-dramatic over such simple matters. Although its not necessarily the same for every Irken. Finding something humorous is often left with obnoxiously loud laughter. Things that upsets them tend to end in a sobbing mess. Most paks were coded to ignore these things but coding emotions are difficult and often bypass their code. Emotions are somewhat under their own firewall you could say. But it’s not always 100% effective.
