HEADCANON ; how would my muse make your muse hot chocolate?

As we know, Morty's cooking skills aren't great, but he won't settle for anything premade. Not for his counterpart. So, he'll buy one of those hot chocolate bombs. It would be a milk chocolate one, inside of it will have green and red sprinkles in the shape of snowflakes!

He would heat up some milk in one of his fancier tea pots. Serving the hot chocolate bomb into a teacup as well, then he'd pour the hot milk on top of it, watching it melt it until it becomes hot chocolate.

Though, he would make an effort to make it special by actually learning how to bake something. Which is marble pound cake, it was a bit hard and he might've messed up a little, but they might've come out decent!

Fuck reasoning for this because Rick Prime is going to use every and other excuse other than "I just felt like making it for you." He may even say it's not a big deal. However, he'll go all out with it. The biggest thing is that he'll assume that his counterpart has the same, secretive sweet tooth that he has. So he'll go with his own instincts on what he likes and just hope for the best.

It'd be a complicated recipe using several types of chocolate and melting it into a creamy consistency, as well as whipping the milk to make it a bit fluffier instead of liquid-y. Once all of it's done, he'll pour it into a glass. Serving it with a generous swirl of whipped cream on top, seasoning it with pumpkin spice. Along with drizzles of chocolate syrup and caramel syrup!

The same recipe will apply here because it's the only recipe that he likes and knows tastes well. The only difference is that he'd add more dark chocolate to give it a darker, bitter flavor rather than sweet.

He's never known for his kitten to like sweet things. At least, not from what he's seen. So, he won't dress it up too much in sugar. He'd serve it plain. Though, he may bring a plate of butter cookies along with it. If asked, he'll claim they're store bought, but he actually made them himself, but his kitten doesn't have to know that.

The only hot chocolate recipe he knows is very simple, using simple ingredients. Just two types of chocolate and milk. He would mix in some espresso within it, though, because not only it enhances the chocolate flavor, but he knows that his Master doesn't sleep well. So he'll figure the added caffeine would be beneficial for the other.

Dressing it up would be simple. A singular marshmallow, dark chocolate shavings and a cinnamon stick on the side. He would choose a heart shaped marshmallow because he thinks his Master would find amusement in that and it would also make himself appear cuter.
