“Hate to break it to you, but some of the stuff Cleo does is not just a girl thing,” Fizz replied. “What’s your deal with Cyrus anyway?” Fizz let out a small laugh at his later comments, making a slight face even though she also viewed him as family and a brother to her. “Okay, don’t get all sappy on me, it’s weird,” she said, even though she just basically told him to get all sappy with Cleo.
Diego took pause for a second. “You think she’s batshit, for real? I know she don’t make much sense to me, but, I figured it was always a girl thing. I don’t know, she always surprises me.” He nodded in explanation. “But, oh yeah, don’t gotta remind me, I remember. I’m surprised you didn’t catch something fuckin’ around with that guy. He’s annoying as fuck.” Diego replied. He never liked Cyrus. “I hope you know that I’m just givin’ you a hard time ‘bout Pas. I really fuck with the dude. He’s a good man who will treat you right and that’s what I’ve always wanted for you because you’re like my sister, after all, and it may sound sappy, but I got love for you and I’m always loyal to my family.”

Iris frantically ran back to the newsroom after getting all her coworkers down in the basement. Everyone was accounted for except for one person. Scott was nowhere to be found and it didn’t help that communication from inside was currently down. He was the hostage, Iris knew the gig all too well.
After calming down the people she could, Iris ran back up to the newsroom which was the only place to hold the proper monitors to even try to restore the lines to their loved ones. “Scotts missing,” she said in a hurry as she shut the door behind her. “I can’t get in contact with the team so we’re on our own with this one. Anyone have any ideas on how to get communication back? Felicity you’re...” she was cut off by the monitors going off with a certain request; secure the radio and watch their loved ones die or not do anything and kill Scott in the process.
As her eyes moved over the screen, she saw Barry and Oliver at the train station. “Oh my god...” she whispered before looking at her friends in the room. “What do we do?”

Benjamin was glad that he was spending New Years Eve with the Klein’s. Especially Felicity. The two of them were friends right? That was what mattered. Plus he wasn’t big on drinking or anything like that. So it was nice that they were just able to hangout. Now they were in the backyard just getting some air or something. “Having fun?” He asked as he pushed her on the swing before getting on his own. The snow didn’t bother him but if she wanted to go inside, he would.

“So are you going to do it?” Fiona questioned, looking over at Felicity for a moment. “I meant go horse back riding with Benji. He seems like a really good friend.”

Desmond was still having some problems processing the whirlwind that had been discovering he had another cousin out there. One from the side of his family he’d thought to be somewhat non-existent. They’d exchanged some messages within the 23 and Me platform after their match had come back, but for the most part the woman he was meeting was a stranger. He’d read some of her work, finding it interesting that they both had an investment in words and writing, but other than that all he had were vague memories of an older cousin when he was younger.
They’d agreed to meet at the diner. After all, where else would one go when meeting your long lost cousin? He was already sat at a table, a little apprehensive to meet her. Looking up when a woman came in that looked like the little picture next to Felicity’s name in their messages, he took and chance and simply asked, “Felicity?”

Working for the Weekend [Sofia + Felicity]
Sofia tapped her papers on the table four times, lining them up perfectly so that they would lay flat in the folder in front of her. The staff meeting had gone well, though the sudden influx of patients was never an easy thing to adapt to. The staff seemed to have a lot of work ahead of them. Sofia had known that these days would happen though, and she'd been happy to spend her weekend reviewing each and every case file carefully. She watched as her coworkers filed out of the room, chattering amongst themselves. Sofia's gaze focused on one of the nursing staff, who looked like she hadn't been paying super close attention to the debrief. "It's going to be a lot of work adjusting to the new patients, don't you think?" She said with a pleasant smile on her face. Sofia hadn't ever spent much time socializing with the other staff members. She didn't think of herself as above them, but she didn't know how to connect to them either. Their jobs seemed so different to her. Felicity in particular seemed so lively and had such a sense of youth about her, that Sofia found little to identify with. Sofia had never lived up her youth the way that young people did these days.

“They really are. I don’t care how good of a person you are, you don’t deserve animals. They’re just so pure.” Felicity smiled. “Kind of animal or a favorite at the shelter?” She had always loved Greek mythology herself, though not enough to major in history just for that. “That’s fair enough. At least you knew what you wanted. So many people just go to college because they think they have to, not because they want something to help with their career.” The brunette liked that he was willing to talk to her even though he barely knew her, she was looking for more friends. “The fact that you could play a sport at all is impressive, don’t talk that down. I played soccer in high school for a few seasons, but I wasn’t very good.”
“You are not wrong.” He smiled. “Hmm.. both,” he decided. “Or either.” He was sure that regardless he would be intrigued to learn her answer. “Well thank you.” If he were to be honest, what he had really wanted out of college was to find himself. And while he still felt he hadn’t completed that mission, he was certainly a hell of a lot closer. “I think a lot of the guys I went to school with and played sports with all thought that getting a degree would guarantee them a job. Which, of course, isn’t exactly how it works either. Most of us didn’t really care. We just wanted to play football. I guess I have to include myself in that a bit. It was definitely my priority at the time.” He gave the brunette a small smile. “I’m sure you were better than you give yourself credit for. And sports teach us all life lessons no matter if we’re good at them or not.”

Eyes weighed down with grogginess, Will stood patiently as he waited for his coffee to be ready--fingers flicking through the manuscript in hand, though he wasn’t really...seeing, much less registering much of what he was reading. He’d been at it all night--rewriting and scrapping and rewriting again--each page marked violently with red pen--the ink was about ready to jump off the page as he mindlessly grabbed the newly-placed coffee and took a sip. That was not his coffee. Will froze for a moment, brows furrowed, before glancing ‘bout the Starbucks for anybody else waiting for a coffee--eyes landing on Felicity. “I think I grabbed yer’ coffee by mistake,” he moved besides her, tone apologetic, “Should’ve looked at the name first, but it’s one of those nights, y’know? If you’re real against accidental drink...drinking, I’ll buy ya a new one n’ everythin’.”

Iris smiled and gave Felicity a small hug knowing how scared she must be. “Felicity, you could never fail them. You’re an amazing mom. Trust me, I think it’s normal and I met my kid as an adult. All I want to do is hold her but then it would get weird,” she laughed with a small shrug.
“Oh so true. It’s that love that will kill them,” she laughed knowing all too well how protective and emotional their men could get. “You’ll get the hang of the whole mom thing. I was surprised it came to me so quick.”

“So like, apparently that senator’s son who was like, in a cult or whatever disappeared again--d’you think he like, rejoined? Can you even do that in a cult?” she’s sprawled across the other’s bed, flipping through a magazine mindlessly, “It’s like...everybody’s taking a massive L these days, like, oh my god--I was pretty much gone the entire party, like, just faded outta my mind--but so much shit apparently happened and now everybody’s like, ugh--so high strung! And like, listen, I stan all of my friends wholesomely, but I just wanna do like, dumbass shit and chill, without consequences, y’know??” her eyes flickered towards the brunette, closing the magazine and letting it flop onto the ground.

“Okay, so, check it, we’re going across country February to May, and then if we’re lucky we’re gonna tour warped tour, but if we dont get a slot since it’s the last year and all, we’re gonna use the summer to record, and then come Fall we’re starting bookings and promotion for our first overseas tour, how sick is that?”
