   It is a pretty scene. Moonlight spills over the location, a dark lapse in the middle of a mountain, a bridge on the side and city lights twinkling in the distance like little dancing fairies sugar coating heartbreak. Tsuneo's expression is far too serious for what Jaehyun is used to see on him. It should be funny, that someone with such a charming smile can do so much damage when another façade coats his handsome features.

   Jaehyun has been trying to swim his way back to the surface, leave behind these notions of romance trying to wreck his mind; this sensation that whatever he found at the bottom by taking Tsuneo's hand feels absolute and immutable. It doesn’t work like that however because heartbreak is as irrational as falling in love is even when chemistry has an explanation and body language is universal. He swallows and looks away, hands clenching into tight fists. ❛ Or what? ❜ he, Kim Heenim, asks. Jaehyun knows the line that comes, ‘ I will not accept it. ’ It shouldn’t do things to him because it's such a clichéd response. 

   But is there any point in wishing against your own hopes? What yearning can do to his pride however he will never reveal it. It doesn’t matter if he can feel truth spilling over these lines. It doesn’t matter if he can still taste Tsuneo’s lips against his own, the sweetness of his charm lingering over his skin. It cannot be. Tsuneo belongs to the public and Jaehyun… Jaehyun will always be the mistake who has to get away.
