It was a very mild form of sass at this point. After all, Kikyou has fought besides Okita enough times to know he would not do it. He was as obstinate as the most stubborn of mules.

Sitting upon a rooftop, Kikyou was quietly observing the town people as they celebrate a festival. Coming from a remote and isolated monastery, such sights were rare to behold.
