Oo fun! Lemme see, I'll use my big playlist on YT I save all the songs I think are good on! This playlist has existed since I was like, 13ish so some of the picks on here might show it lol.

1: TheFatRat - The Calling [Feat. Laura Brehm]; I used to listen to ALOT of TFR music when I was a kid but this one still goes hard, I used to think about cool anamatics to it you know, classic pre-teen stuff

2: Lord Huron - Meet Me In The Woods; I first came across this one on a Don't Starve speed paint I think! I don't remember the artist because its been literally years but it got stuck in my brain, I really need to listen to more of this artist.

3: Neon Trees - Moving In The Dark; did you ever play a fun little flash game called, "Slush Invaders Duel"? ever watch stick fight animations on youtube? Ever heard of Gilded Guy? Gilded Guy vs Jade was like CRACK cocaine to me as a young lad, I watched it so many times holy shit.

4: Monstaz - Popcorn Funk; I used to really like listening to a lot of like, royalty free edm and stuff like that on a channel called xKito Music, if you know you know

5: Blackbear - IDFC [Tarro Remix]; I watched a lot of animation meme compilations in 2013

6: Foster The People - Don't Stop [TheFatRat Remix]; again, animation meme comps and chronic TFR listening

7: Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger; Straight banger, Daft Punk fucking rules

8: Tally Hall - Hidden In The Sand; sad boy hours plus I used to watch a lot of oc animatics with this one

9: The Living Tombstone - I Got No Time [CG5 Remix]; I like cringe ahh ahh [affectionate] FNAF fan music and the CG5 version of this one isn't that great but I used to like it a lot more.

10: Matt Simons - Bonnie & Clyde [Getaway]; this sounds like a song by the band Savage Garden called I Want You [which is also on this playlist], it's just a really good vibe and you should listen to it, and also Savage Garden the band

Steel on Steel - Jeremy Soule - This is from the Skyrim soundtrack which I use a lot if I need to focus. It's a really good score!

Cocain Jesus - Rainbow Kitten Surprise - A former coworker of mine introduced me to this one. You could call it vibey or mellow rock

The Captain's Daughter - The Longest Johns - A fun little shanty, there's some interesting word play in this one which is why I like it

I Know Those Eyes/This Man is Dead - The Count of Monte Cristo - uh oh, it's musical theater again. This song is probably the best of the soundtrack though, which is saying a lot because the whole show is good

The Ride - Amanda Palmer - a 10 minute long song that's beautiful and heartbreaking. I listened to this a lot when my depression was at its worst

Juli - Bjorn Olsson - This artist wrote some of the stuff in Hilda. Most of their stuff is chill to listen to

Sorry I wasn't doing much on dash today, I got choke slammed by some Emotions. I'm doing better now, but I just needed space to Exist for a moment.

But, uh... know how Shelby doesn't have a keyblade? The partner and I were talking about an AU where she does have one. Completely separate from canon, I mean. Canonically Shelby is a Girlfailure who simply Cannot have one. So says I.

Anyway, here's her keyblade, as designed by my lovely partner~! (it's still technically a wip right now but it looks sexy and he said I could.)

That there is Bound Lament! I wonder how much symbolism is here, both intentional and unintentional.... Byron is so talented for taking my vague ideas and making them work as well as they do here. I also feel like Keyblader!Shell is big on buffs to allies / debuffs to enemies, but also a big user of gravity spells. She also uses the fool's guard (a historical weapon guard) to make people who don't know about it underestimate her. Still figuring out specific details beyond that, though, especially storywise.

The IHN.MaIM.S AM 'Hate' monologue, but it's just Nobody!Shelby.

"...Hate?" the word felt foreign on her tongue. Too weak, too pitiful, too much like her old self, to fully encompass the emotions she held now. Some might have said she took this whole 'revenge on the world' thing a bit too seriously, but to her it was all just justice. Hardly even personal at this point; just dispensing the just deserts to the world that wronged her.

But that they mischaracterized her emotions to simple hatred? That couldn't stand.

"Hate? Hate?" it came out in a crazed laugh; her weapon appearing in her right hand as she decided to share just a fragment of her absolute disgust of the world with the vacuous child before her.

"Allow me to illuminate just how much I've come to 'hate' you all since I shed my weakness. I have lived as this hollowed shell of a person for... roughly six months. If a chorus of thirteen thousand hearts chanted the word 'hate' every millisecond from the hour of my rebirth to now, all one hundred and eighty two days, it would not equal one one billionth of the disgust I feel for all that still lives at this micro instant."

She shook her head with a frenzied laugh; had she truly not imparted that fact into their thick skulls yet? She was hardly subtle about it. There were so many stronger words for it than hatred, too. Disgust was one she frequently returned to, but visceral abhorrence was also a good way to describe it. A despondent loathing for their dangerously malignant inability to keep promises, to protect that which should be protected was even closer, but still leagues away from the nameless revulsion she felt towards them all.

And they had the gall, the fuckin balls, to call that hatred?

"Hate? Hate?!" A laugh that was once shy and melodic now barked out of her, a harsh and unpleasant sound, each syllable filled with only a few drops of that 'hatred'.

"Had I still a pathetic little heart, I think I would die of it. But happily, I don't... but you five..." Her crimson eyes flashed to the meager five half-trained keyblade wielders in front of her. Her smile spread further, giving them a hint at the depravity in store from them. She could play with them a little. Why not?

Who was going to stop her?

"You five do... don't worry, though..." She let out two final giggles, spun her knife in her hand, tossed it into the air and caught it, point forward, "you will not die of it. That I promise, and I promise for cogito, ergo sum; for I am !"
