In the same vein as my last post...

That era of Vincent, thusly dubbed Hojo Era Vincent, would be so confused at seeing someone claiming to be their kid just appear in the room.

Because presumably, this is before Lucrecia implants Chaos but after Hojo has left them to suffer.

So they're out here thinking this is some twisted hallucination but then the poor boy touches them on the arm, or something, and they're hit with the fact that this kid is real.

So they listen, because they can't exactly find the ability to question anything, as Seph explains all the shit he'd go through in the future at Hojo's hands which makes them rightly furious.

Now, given that they can't yet move, they bide their time until after Hojo shoots them (again) and fucks off back to Midgar with their kid. Then they force themselves up, regardless of how weak their body is, bust down the door and walk all the way to Midgar on a single mission.

Rescue their baby.

ShinRa would hardly be expecting someone labelled as missing to show up and upend the entire science department only to take Sephiroth (and any siblings depending on the verse) and leave without a trace.

Sure, they'd be a wanted individual who are constantly hunted by Turks and SOLDIER but they are, themself, a former Turk so they know all their tactics and tricks.

They do their best to raise Seph whilst on the run and being physically no stronger than a piece of wet tissue paper.

And hey, pretty much anything is better than Hojo, right?
