a/n:  hiiiiii i altered the prompt a wee bit to make it set on a plane. i realized halfway through writing this that this boy has a freaking song called long flight and i subconsciously thought of planes. i’m a certified d u m b a s s but i hope u enjoy!!

it wasn’t everyday that a complete stranger decided to break his way into your life

especially not in the middle of an airport

you got to your gate waiting area like an hour early to just chill 

about 15 mins before your flight starts boarding you see a rowdy bunch of guys 

they are joking around and jostling each other around as they walk towards your gate

there’s at least six of them, all w funky hair colors and w o w expensive clothing

one in particular looks to be the leader if you could call it that

you don’t pay them much attention, assuming they are prob in first class or whatever

but then the ‘leader’ starts walking toward you ????

he gives you a smile but he looks scared tbh

“hey um i know this is weird as fuck but please pretend to be my girlfriend until we land?”

you are silent for a minute bc w h a t

“thats a nine hour flight”

is all you say

next thing you know he’s rambling awe

“you can just sleep! its a long story but i just told the guys that my girlfriend was visiting here and was too busy to see them. somehow they got the impression she was on this flight? only problem is–”

take off time!! you notice he’s all tense and so you squeeze his hand as the plane lifts off

it helps him calm down and he gives you a small smile that you can’t help returning

the boys settle in around yall so you do the same

nap time!! wow first class is comfy

you end up waking up leaning on his shoulder and his head on yours awww 

you don’t mind it tbh so you just stay there, pretending to be asleep

when taeyong wakes up tho

hes so flustered like!!!

yall eat some food, and you keep stealing some of his fries as he playfully bats you away

he def doesn’t mind tho he thinks its hella cute

suddenly he’s wondering why he asked you to be his fake girlfriend when he clearly should’ve just asked you to be his real girlfriend

by the end of the flight, yall have discussed everything from favorite movies to favorite foods

yall talk about EVERYTHING childhood memories, where yall both work, favorite restaurants, etc etc

1) bc yall are def getting to know each other on a basic level and the boys prob heard it all 

but he doesn’t really care

the plane lands and as you walk off the plane he grabs your hand

and now its your turn to be all flustered and shy

but not before he helps you get your bags from baggage claim

you wave goodbye as you watch his friends all give him a mildly hard time

but tbh it looks like they are just teasing him and happy that he got your number
