Toxx is in pain, but is pushing through so he doesn't worry Skel or Isohiri. Malu is extremely stressed and worried about something, and Toxx doesn't know why. Malu won't talk to him, but they clearly feel very pressured.

Skel is pacing. He's been through so much, and he's holding on by a thread. He hasn't mentioned anything, but he's felt... flickers. Mephistopheles's voice has become gradually weaker, easier to miss. As much as he forces himself to try to improve, he only gets kicked down harder and harder. He tries to hide it from everyone, to keep his struggles tightly leashed. He doesn't want anyone to worry about him, because everyone else has their own problems to deal with. He doesn't want to add his own to that.

Soon. One event will topple everything. An action taken in anxious haste will snap one thread, and then another.
