Hmm, they may not be all too happy if he was late, but at the same time, those who worked for him were quite used to his whimsical behaviours and would cover for him. It wasn't as though he planned to spend too long extra within the comforting warmth of bed like this, but what was life if you didn't take the chance to indulge in the finest it had to offer? Kira was one such thing, a luxury he enjoyed spending time with. Time was money, yet he didn't mind too much spending extra around her - odd that. He wondered if without her connections if it'd be the same type of degree of affection felt, but then he'd catch himself. There was no point wasting time with such riddles. He liked this moment - that was all that mattered.

"Just a few moments longer", he muttered, a kissed placed to the top of her head, fingers lightly playing with her hair, "What are your plans for today?". Mondstadt was so quiet, unless there was some festival happening - and they seemed to run those pretty often. And though the increase in noise and annoying drunks could be rather bothersome - festivals were always a good source for income.

A smile tugged at her lips as she felt his arm move around her waist and pull her closer. Kira was more than happy to comply. She laid her head upon his torso, a pale hand placed on his chest as she enjoyed his closeness. The soft sunlight that bled through the curtains of the bedroom window caused Kira’s dirty blond curls--messy after just waking up as the strands pooled around her head--looked like liquid gold in the gentle light.

She chuckled as she toyed idly with a strand of his own black hair. He was honestly gorgeous, but Kira knew from her own experiences that beauty on the outside did not guarantee beauty within. But from the way he held her, the way he kissed her, the way he simply looked at her… Kira felt like she could trust him. She didn’t know if that would end poorly for her, but at this moment, she didn’t care. She was happy.

“I’m sure the people you’re meeting with won’t like that,” Kira replied with an amused smirk on her lips. Sleepiness was still evident in her expression, but it was clear that she was waking up quickly. She placed a kiss to his shoulder--the easiest place for her to reach from her angle--before she nuzzled closer against his neck. “Then I’ll just have to make sure your time isn’t wasted…~”
