Warm brown eyes stayed on her, his expression soft but calculative as he reached forth to wipe the tears from her eyes with a thumb. "It happens." He mentioned calmly, not at at all put off by the moment. When she pulled away instinctively, he paused for a second and tilted his head a little bit at her. "Hey," He shook his head, boldly moving to place his hands underneath her to pull her back in close, nearly in his lap as he comforted her. "We're okay. I'm cool, if you are." He had both of his arms wrapped around her, in an attempt to both distract and anchor her to the moment. "I'm sorry he did all that to you."

“You know, we spend half our time together irritating the hell out of each other,” Cristina noted as she took a seat on the couch, offering Damon one of the glasses of whiskey she had poured. “Are you sure you’re willing to put up with me for the rest of eternity?”

"Is there anyone better?" He asked with a brow raised as he accepted his glass.

Every time he looked at her and spoke to her, he saw the equivalent of Ally. His baby sister that he'd do anything for and he knew, without thinking, he would do whatever Cristina ever needed of him. All she ever had to do was say the word and give him a KFC gift card.

"Do I wanna model? No," he laughed easily. "But if it'll help you out? Oh absolutely. Any time, any day. You literally only need to call me." he promised. He stood to his full height, smoothing out his clothes. "We're gonna be the best dressed, best looking duo in that place.

Waverly hadn't intended on mentioning anything from her appointment just yet, she was going to let herself process it and then talk to her mums before she brought it up to anyone else. "I need a pacemaker. I'm getting that tomorrow." She explained. "And I'm on the transplant list."

Cristina forgot all about the wine. “Oh my god, Wave,” she breathed, shuffling across the room. She took a seat and wrapped an arm around Waverly, pulling her close. “What did they say?”

Scarlet slowly slinks into the seat beside the other woman, leaning close to her. “ -- Hey. I don’t know if you came here with that guy, but I just wanted to make sure that you’re safe and stuff.” She says softly. When she got to this bar, the man was already sitting beside her. But something seemed like the lady wasn’t as interested in what he was talking about as someone would be when out with a friend or date. 

“Do you want me to sit with you, or something? We can be friends until he decides to leave you alone.” She offers. “Girls gotta watch out for each other, right?”

Joe couldn’t help but be sentimental these days. Everything was nearly perfect for him. He was officially free from Rafael and Laney was in talks about her contract to leave as well. In fact, there was only a few things he still felt needed to happen and today was going to be the day. “Well, you deserve it.” he promised as he pressed a kiss to her nose. “Are you almost ready to meet Cass?”

Of course, that wasn’t all that was going to happen.

Garrett blinked a few times to try and keep his head. His brain fog was honestly bad this morning but he didn't want to show it. Looking at Cristina when she came in, he smiles to her. "Coffee, darling?" he asks her, smiling and coughing slightly before taking another drink of his own coffee.

“Now that I’m going to be living here for, like, ever, that means I get to redecorate as I please, right?” Cristina asked, scooting herself up to sit on the kitchen counter.

"I'm not sure that was the agreement". Damon gave her pointed look. "Have you thought about school?" He had pushed the idea time and time again, not because he wanted her out of the house but because she needed to feel her age and socialize. "What type of redecorations are we talking about?"

"Ah, mon ami, do you truly think I am that old to know such a question?" He teased but shrugged as he effortlessly leaned back against the chair and looked over his warm-blooded friend. Honestly, Cristina was one of the very few of the humans he had taken time to know, rather than using them for a meal. "I would like to believe it is because saying meese is rather dense, wouldn't you think? Say it in a full sentence and see if that sounds correct." He hummed.

“....sides? Don’t...don’t play with me. Because my boss offered me sides one time and that heffa got me a bag of chips out a gas station. Cristina, I will harm you if you don’t get me mashed potatoes.” He was mostly kidding. He would go regardless but he didn’t need to be teased. It was too cruel. 

"You're tellin' me there isn't gonna be any kinda fried chicken and you want me to be happy?"

“Don’t mind Jinxy, I’m sure he just likes you because your armor is shiny,” Cristina commented, watching as her black cat jumped up on the couch to inspect Orm.

The cat crawled onto Orm, purring loudly. "What? What is it doing?"

“I... don’t... like... water.” The younger Scott announced as soon as his toe hit the ocean.

Well, that was a problem, considering they’d come to the beach.

“Just give it a shot?” The elder Scott tried, sticking his own toe in, only to be given the stink eye by his nephew.

“No.”

“...Marco, you’re up.” He scrambled, moving away and passing the boy off to an exasperated looking Marco.

“...Should I just let go?”

“No! Are you crazy?” Liam rushed over to reach for his son. “We’ll work on it! You don’t just drop him in like a fish.”
