Like King/Carlos said, Niffty Momo and D'Zuko Johnny are close, they've been bound to the hip since childhood and pretty much what you envision when you think of "platonic soulmates" - they are inseparable and crazy about each other. Momo would fuss over Johnny their entire life and that continued well into their deaths, where she still very much fusses over the big guy.

Her parents really loved Johnny, they pretty much pseudo-adopted him as parents are wont to do with those who befriend their babies. They watched Momo & Johnny together and they both knew in their hearts that if one were to perish, the other would be short to follow. If it had not been Momo who died first and was instead Johnny, Momo would have followed soon after due to a broken heart. Neither could literally live without the other. Johnny is the other half of Momo and she just would not function well without him, you pretty much split her right in half when you take him away - she just can't do without. Her parents mourned them both and put them side-by-side in the family plot.

Now that they're both dead and in Hell, Niffty considers Hell to be absolutely perfect. She has her Johnny D'Zuko, she has her little found family with the Hotel, she could want for nothing more. Let it be known that while she is very tiny compared to him (always has been), she is incredibly protective over the bunny and looks after him. No one tampers with her Johnny D'Zuko without bringing out a very seldom seen Angry Niffty.

Also, she's the brains of the two. Always has been, always will be! That's just how these two roll! 🐞🐰

Niffty is also completely unaware of the true way that he perished.
