The wing pattern is tattooed on his back, across his shoulders. It was the first one he got, and a gift from his friends to celebrate his first birthday separated from his dad.

The translations and heiroglyphs on his arms are taken from the Book of the Dead/the Papyrus of Ani. These prayers/spells are newer tattoos.

Two years of Three! If you didn't know, this blog's Donnie was spawned off of @cupcakeslushie 's Empyrian Weeping comic in its very early days! This Three and the Three from EW have diverged significantly as their stories were taken in different directions (EW's Three dealing with identity, mine dealing with autonomy) but I still tune in for every update, as well as to see the other projects Slushie takes on. (I have so many drawings of her raised by big mama!donnie.)

I'm proud that it's gotten this far, and I'm so excited to see what his arc has in store! Congrats Slushie!
