As previously explored with @spiritpyro’s Hayate and @dis--parity’s Alex, Vivian actually has trouble saying the word, ‘love’, around people she is romantically attracted to. ...In fact, she opts to say ‘L-word’ instead, meaning rather than ‘I love you’, it would be ‘I L-word you’, because this girl is unaccustomed to navigating romantic relationships and romance as a whole.
Seriously, you’ve got to understand Vivian has spent years, looking down on normies and scoffing at the idea of ‘true love’, that once she actually realizes her feelings for someone is less platonic in nature, she becomes very embarrassed. Why, while she has no qualms telling friends, pets, or even her father she loves them, love interests and significant others are a whole different story altogether.
Honestly, at least when dating them for the first little while, Vivian would act like a bashful school girl around anyone she falls for and just fumble through her words, to the point where if a ship were to occur in her older modern verse, people might doubt the fact she’s not actually a virgin. But yeah, she has trouble being the least bit suave and will be a very milder version of a tsundere (ie: will threaten to smother a muse’s face with kisses if they don’t shut up, whine about a muse being incorrigible, etc) when it comes to more flirtatious or charming muses.
Of course, she does end up being a bit more lascivious or weirdly blunt/shameless (which is best demonstrated through this post here *WARNING* suggestive language) as time goes on, but overall, doing anything romantic (like bringing a significant other flowers) will still reduce her to a blushing mess... and naturally, how she reacts is quite heavily dependent on how shy or bold a muse is, but for the most part, Vivian is very much a dork.
