attended to house parties her whole life (probably not voluntarily) and kept a lot of peoples drinks safe. she tends to stay away from the party so a very solid option if you need a quick toilet break. will only let go of it in emergencies but makes sure to buy you a drink as an apology.

How they spend valentines with you

Indoor dates; Aphelios, Akali, Senna, Yasuo

They choose to spend their valentines day with you indoors; either because they simply prefer it that way, or just want to spend it alone with you ⎯ away from the eyes of onlookers who are desperate for gossip.

Aphelios and Yasuo are introverts at heart, so being away from people is like a blessing to them both. How they'd choose to spend the day with you depends on the current mood they're feeling, for example: wanting to do something that doesn't require much work like watching a movie is one of the go-to's he'd do for valentines. Or on the more rarer occasions where he's wanting to feel genuine and sincere, he'd take some time off idol work to compose a personal song for you ⎯ one that isn't technically sung by him (most likely asked one of their members to sing in his steed) but can be used for karaoke, or background music during dinner.

Akali and Senna are the same as the other two ⎯ both being introverted but also not really? In the pre-tense of it she simply has a hard time getting along with people but would put up some sort of effort when it comes to you. However on this day, she'd much prefer to spend it alone with you. The list on what you would do with her varies on the basics of what most couples do on this day: movies, snacks, dinner, etc. I feel like in a way, Akali would want to spend valentines like how regular couples would ⎯ setting aside her role as an idol.

Outdoor dates; Kayn, Sett, K'Sante, Evelynn, Kai'Sa, Ekko

Kayn and K'sante are the types who'd want to make this day as memorable as he can for you; spending however much money he can offer to spoil you for the whole day. Though I can only imagine for Kayn he'd chooses to spend his money on bringing you to a concert that both you and him have been waiting to attend, whereas for K'Sante he's the type that'll carry all the bags you've bought and take you to a fancy restaurant to dine in.

^ You can also say this would be something Evelynn would also do for you, in terms of taking you out and spoiling you, then bringing you somewhere fancy. She has the power to do so, so why not use it to her advantage, no? At the end of it all you'd both be sitting in a high view building, watching as the city lights coat the streets before calling it a night with sweet kisses and longing words to each other.

^^ Kai'sa somewhat doing the same as what Kayn did, however, instead of just attending 'a' concert ⎯ she'd be giving you tickets to hers and her group's concert instead (i'm sorry idrk how to write for her)

Sett on the other hand is taking you on a walk. Yes, a walk. Varying between places like parks or a walk down the streets ⎯ to taking you on a hiking trip to the mountains. Of course he isn't gonna force you to keep climbing when you're getting tired, but instead of taking a break by sitting down somewhere, he'd continue the walk with you on his back or shoulders. To him it's a win-win situation: You get to rest for a bit, while he continues to walk and show you the amazing view of the place AND technically speaking, this would count as a workout for him, right? I will say at the end of it all, he'd have at least one or two things prepared when the walk is over (your gift).

Ekko is a man who's lived in the street since he was a kid; dealing with hardships and whatnot through out his life already, he'd hope to at least spend one of these days, this day in particular, where he can spend money on you. That's his wish, and with the amount he earns as a Idol ⎯ well, i guess you can say a part of his wish did come true.

A mix between both; Ezreal, Yone, Ahri, Qiyana

In the case of becoming hit stars, and especially being the fans' faves; Ezreal and Yone's schedule are so packed, they have to plan their valentines day to be both indoors and outdoors. For Yone it'd be indoors > outdoors, starting his valetines indoors first because there were still some things he needed to check over before going outdoors with you to spend the rest of your valentines day with him. Ezreal's valentines, however, started off with an outdoor date in mind but then switched to indoors the moment fans caught sight of him and he had to cancel it all ⎯ making him somewhat depressed for the most part because he tried so hard to make this day perfect for you both, but seeing as it was still a day you can spend together, outdoors or not, he's happy as long as he's with you.

^ The same can be said for Ahri, she has plenty of fans who'd want to talk and take pictures of her when she's outside so the outdoor date she had in mind suddenly turned indoor the moment fans caught wind of her activities.

^ As for Qiyana, it'd be similar to Yone but not exactly ⎯ she'd want to spend the day resting a bit longer in bed with you during the start of the day and then spend the rest outdoors; via going to a club or a bar.

Sett is understanding beyond anything and a gentleman to boot. He would notice before you even say anything about it. Sett can tell from the slightest change in your behavior that something was bothering you and ask you about it.

A gentle grip as he pulls you up from the couch onto his lap. Face nuzzling your neck as he tries to get you to talk. Puppy dog eyes from your lover was all it took to get you to sigh as you spoke about your small…ok maybe, your average sized problems. His face breaking out into a comforting smile as you spoke, adjusting himself so that you could lie into his chest instead as you spoke.

Telling him the way fans keep shipping him with Ahri just because the two of them were stunning Vastayans in media would just make him give you a hearty laugh. Arms around you he’d shower you in kisses, telling you not to bother about fans like that.

Of course it doesn’t end at just telling you it’s ok. Sett would do his best to show that you are the only one for him too. When there are interviews or shows within their shared music label Sett would consciously stay a respectable distance from Ahri. (Of course explaining to her his want to stamp down the rumors of which she readily agrees to)

Sett is a gentleman so of course he is nice to the girls still, but all the sweet things extend to you too. Plus, beyond that he gives you special treatment when you two are outside together. Letting you know if he has shoots with her so you can drop by to feel the comfort of knowing there’s nothing to be worried about. Wearing things with your initials, wearing your colors or matching accessories with you whenever he can so that so that it is clear to others that he is taken and is in love with someone else.

He comforts you of course, gently making sure you understand that as a public figure he can’t do much about the things people say and do about him online, but at the least, he can post some subtle couple pictures with you online, telling fans (untargetedly) that he isn’t comfortable with being shipped with other idols.

And later on your relationship, when the situation arises and management approves of announcing his relationship with you, it is you he has in his arms. Hand outstretched to help you out of the limo at a red carpet event. Bright smile on his face as he looks at you with all the love in his eyes as you dress to the nines with him looking both amazing, proudly showing you off to the paparazzi to settle things once and for all. He was taken and he was yours.

Kayn would notice when he comes back from a dinner function with K/DA to see you looking really pouty at him from the bed. Alright, something was wrong here, the real question is, was it his fault?

Throwing off his branded jacket to the side, kicking off his shoes, Kayn would slowly make his way over to the bedside, sitting by you as he looks at you concerned. Hand reaching out to comb through your hair to try and console you. The soft feeling of his nails gently scratching your scalp to coax you into confiding in him helped of course. A soft sigh leaving you as you showed him all the posts in the KaynKali tags online. You knew he loved you and they were just childhood friends but still it was tough to see fans ship them together.

He laughs first, loudly. Thinking so obviously that you were joking to be jealous of Akali of a people. He only suddenly stops as he sees you hurt and glaring at him frustrated.

Apologizing furiously as he pulls you in for a tight hug. Telling you about how he has no intentions like that with her and she definitely doesn’t look at him that way either. As far as he is concerned they are both furthest from each other’s type, she’s a sister to him and that you have nothing to worry about. Whatever ‘chemistry’ fans see were just their irritated banter between close friends, nothing more!

A smug smile on his face as he peppers yours in kisses, jokingly asking you if you wanted him to post all his couple photos of you guys to social media right now. Sure it would start drama and management would kill him but he loves you and mischief isn’t something he shys away from. The only reason he hasn’t was because he treasures his privacy with you afterall.

With you in his arms he whips out his phone for you to see, sending Akali a text to ask about what she felt about all this only to have her reply with a photo of her flipping him off and blocking him. “ See? Nothing to worry about baby. My love only belongs to you.”

But of course, it doesn’t just end there. He doesn’t hard announce your relationship or anything but whenever you two go out together he happily holds your hand or has an arm around your waist. He doesn’t hide you and proudly shows you off but never making it official until management lets him.

When the time comes and he gets to show you off he does it as showy as he could. Calling you out on stage mid solo performance to lift you up with one arm, lips passionately pressing against yours as a smug smile graces his lips. Announcing proudly to all his fans that you were his and his only.

Like, don't get me wrong, Evie, Ahri, and Akali are 👌👌 but Kai'Sa is just a hidden beauty and I don't regret making my poly fics Kai'Sa centric bc she deserves it all. And you guys know when this blog was active that Kai'Sa is my fav and dare I say I love her more than akalynn. Yep I said it. The truth. So... once again thinking about the Darksiders characters if they were implemented into a MOBA. Sorry if this is a tired idea to anybody. It's just, with playing Wild Rift, it gets me thinking, and Darksiders is one of my favorite video game series, so sometimes thoughts just form together.

I was thinking about passives and got an idea while trying out Tryndamere. Maybe for the Horsemen, just like how Tryndamere generates "Fury," the Horsemen generate "Wrath." I don't think it's a bad idea, considering in the Darksiders games "Wrath" can be generated when in combat just like "Fury" is for Tryndamere.

Tryndamere isn't the only one with "Fury" in LoL either. Renekton and Shyvana also do use "Fury," just in different ways to Tryndamere. So, maybe "Wrath" is generated differently for each Horseman. Using the Rider of the Black Horse as an example, Fury could say generate "Wrath" in a similar way to Shyvana, where her abilities are based on how long they cool down and her "Wrath" is what is used for her Ultimate. Meanwhile, War and Death could take inspiration from Renekton and Tryndamere. War could generate "Wrath" and for his next basic ability will get an empowered effect once enough is stored, while Death when generating "Wrath," depending on the amount, could get a higher chance for a critical strike. Now, that just leaves Strife. He's a bit harder to figure out. His "Wrath" would be generated in combat just like the other Horsemen, but what extra effect could it have, if needed? I'm stumped. Oh, or maybe Strife is the one with "Wrath" related to his Ultimate while Fury share "Wrath" use similar to War or Death.

Now, what of other Darksiders characters? Would they use "Wrath?" I think that could depend. As part of a hypothetical passive in a MOBA, maybe it could work, while others I could see as having a Mana bar like Ekko, or an Energy bar like Akali. Depends on their personality, I guess. Or some could just be baseline Manaless, all their abilities being a bit more based on cool downs.

Someone like Absalom would probably also have "Wrath," while someone like Azrael would probably have Mana. Don't know what characters could use Energy though, not many feel like they have abilities built around doinf things quickly like Kennen, Akali, Shen, or Zed. Funny idea I just had while typing this is maybe The Hunter from Darksiders 2 having Ferocity, just like Rengar... I'm joking! That could probably fit Samael? Ulthane's abilities I could see being purely based on cool downs.

Speaking of Ulthane, what could his passive and abilities be? I think his passive could be a Living Forge type of deal similar to Ornn from League, where he can forge his own items on the battlefield instead of always having to return to base, and at least one of his abilities has to be throwing his hammer, while another could be a type of charge/dash, while maybe another could be something like throwing a powerful enough haymaker it sends out a shockwave, and I have no idea at the moment what his Ultimate could be. Now, some may be asking, "Why a powerful haymaker that can create shockwaves?" Simple enough answer. Considering War needed the Tremor Gauntlet to open heavy doors and lift Ulthane's hammer in Darksiders 1, a Gauntlet that can allow War to create shockwaves on the ground with a certain move, who's to say Ulthane can't be strong enough to do something similar? Or maybe it could be a Thunderclap, similar to what the Incredible Hulk can do?

Anyways, this is feeling like it's getting a bit long, and I am up bit late as I am writing this, so I will return to this later and try coming up with more ideas at some point. Hope you all enjoyed this and hey, if you got ideas you wish to add, that's cool.

1 - Fav Champion Biography -- The ones I've read the most are definitely Kai'Sa and Kassadin's, and I am extremely fond of them, but to be less predictable I'm gonna say Ezreal's? I think it has a really good amount of detail going over a lot of his history, includes worldbuilding, and manages to convey the cocky attitude of the character well, I think it's solid

9 - Favorite Region, and Why -- Perhaps basic but I'm very fond of Ionia. The concept art is all beautiful, I'm very fond of the characters from there, and there's also so many different storylines to pick from and enjoy about it, it feels really rich with both its internal and external conflicts. Studying it for one of my fics really made the attachment stronger. I do also like the Shadow Isles though, shoutout Ruination Novel ily 5ever

19 - You get to retcon one piece of currently canon lore and replace it with a headcanon of yours. What do you pick? Why? -- Hm okay I'm going to be super duper petty and say that I wish Ahri's former lover was a woman. I feel like all my other boatloads of headcanons are filling in gaps / drawing natural conclusions from canon instead of ones directly contradictory to it... but that one I tend to ignore. Sorry lol she is purely a girlkisser To Me Personally. AU-wise I'm not big on Yasuo being a producer on K/DA's EP, I much prefer them as a purely self-produced group, even if he is someone they trust I just don't think he needs to be involved. I promise I literally have so many other fun headcanons that don't involve me erasing Yasuo from existence lmao

23 - What character's abilities (in-game) fit their lore the most? Okay lol I don't play the games so all of my minimal ability knowledge comes from research for fic purposes I did ages ago. So I guess Ahri? I was inclined to say Akali but I think she has some kind of dash that's maybe a little too humanly impossible whereas Ahri's dashes you can chalk up to Vastaya magic and whatnot. Wish I could give a better answer but she's one of the only ones with movesets I can remember lmao

" hello love, " she pauses to purposefully struggle against her binds. " won't the handsome birthday girl come and open her present? "

sure, she has plenty properly planned in the morning, but evelynn isn't one to shy away from being extra.

anyone can hear the grin from that singular excited line alone. akali opens the door and blinks, pausing upon seeing the darkness that greets her. but she's quickly drawn to the glow of evelynn's eyes, and she even catches her voice—and that cute little purr of hers—inside the room. "did you take a nap, babe? sorry i took so long." should explain why the lights are off.

her hand reaches for where she knows the switch is and flicks it on.

and then... well.

to say akali's surprised would be an understatement.

she stands there, eyes wide, unabashedly drinking in the sight of evelynn in ribbons on their bed. only in ribbons. the lashers were beckoning her to come close and her woman struggling against her binds only served to fuel the flames of hunger that suddenly ignited to life within akali. "holy shit, eve." she breathes. she eyes evelynn's delicious breasts, accentuated by the ribbons. her thick thighs, just asking to be squeezed. god, and the fact that her arms are bound behind her back means that she will be very well behaved tonight. who is said handsome birthday girl to deny what both of them want at this very moment?

the rapper steps forward, knees lightly bumping the edge of the bed. "look at you," she husks, already ravishing her with her gaze alone. "how long have you been waiting for daddy, babygirl?" a finger hooks onto the ribbon around evelynn's throat, pulling on it to get her to look at akali. her stare is intense. hungry. "so patient for me. daddy wants to take her time opening up this gorgeous present though. be a good girl and behave for me." her other hand moves to squeeze one of her lover's thighs, thumb idly tracing the ribbon around it. then she leans down, capturing her girlfriend's lips in a rough kiss, still keeping her hold on the ribbon. oh, she's going to enjoy this.

Riot's obvious skin preferences used to just annoy me, like, I'd see the new skins and be like 'right, the same characters (skinny LeagueOfLegends-faced woman and muscled more-often-than-not-shirtless man) again, what was I expecting", but this last months I've been experiencing actual rage when I see ANOTHER FU****** COPY-PASTE and I was curious; what are your opinions about the matter? I want too see people raging and hating on this with me I'm sorry

I mean, I know it's what sells most how can people pay for the same sh*t over and over and OVER AGAIN , but really, would it kill them to make one unusual character, or at least drop the anime fashion for one month?!? With creativity you can create so many interesting concepts but it's like Riot throws it all over the window everytime they decide to just adapt the same characteristics into a slightly different body.

But anyway, what do you think?

I used to ignore this thing about Riot releasing so much content for popular characters, like, it didn't interest me so i didn't even engage with it. but it's gotten so ridiculously annoying these last two years... even when there are interesting concepts, what's the point if it's only going to be aimed at champions like kaisa, lux, akali, yasuo or yone?

I had a small hope when Broken Covenant line was released, with Cho'gath and Nocturne receiving the best-looking skins in terms of design... (but soon after because of the narrative, and the use of the term "partners in crime" directed at rakan and xayah instead of the real couple who are partners in crime... yeah, as petty as that sounds, it really irritated me)

And in the same year as BC we had to put up with not only the Coven line(which is terrible, but no one seems to realize that) but also about 60% or more of last year's skins were with an oriental theme.

oh, and do I need to mention that champions like Yone, Sett and Ezreal received 2 or 3 skins in a short period of time? i mean, Sett won his Soul Fighter skin and just 3 months later he won his Heartsteal skin?.... Dr. Mundo had not received a skin for more than 4 years, my Graves had not received one for 2 years, and the last was a sport skin.

Everything about the current state of Riot has been exhausting to follow.

I really just wish Graves would be released in LoR soon, i'm begging for any minimal content about him.

Robin, with his eyes fixed on the glowing screen, spared her a fleeting glance before diving back into the depths of his tasks. The exhaustion etched into his features was unmistakable; the heavy bags under his eyes painted in shades of violet and maroon a vivid portrait of sleepless nights and endless deadlines. His bowtie now sat askew, a small detail amidst the chaos of papers and files that surrounded him. As Akali rambled on, Robin's fingers danced across the keyboard, each keystroke a silent plea for respite. The throbbing ache in his temples matched the rhythm of his typing, the rumble of burnout.

After she finished speaking, he rose from his seat with a subtle nod in her direction, his gaze momentarily flickering down to methodically arrange his papers into a neat stack before securing them within his sleek briefcase. The cadence of his footsteps, though brisk, exuded a sense of purpose and efficiency that belied any hint of haste. Meanwhile, Robin nonchalantly shrugged, ambling over to the coffee pot to refill his cup with a casual grace, pouring himself another cup of steaming brew.

"It wasn't as though you missed much," Robin said curtly, helping himself to a spot of cream in his roast before turning to face her again. "I didn't have a party or celebrate, I'm not sure I even will this year … I just can't find the time and it isn't as though its a special day to waste precious, more important, time over."

As he raised the ceramic mug to his lips, the rich aroma of the roast brought a smile to his lips. With a gentle tilt of the cup, the velvety liquid caressed his tongue, releasing a burst of flavor that danced across his taste buds. A soft sigh escaped his lips, carrying with it a wave of contentment as the caffeine worked its magic, awakening his senses and infusing him with a renewed sense of energy. Slowly, he closed his eyes, savoring the moment.

Warnings: None, just fluff Word count: 2.8 K Summary: Your brother, Zed, left you and the Kinkou behind in a wake of tragedy, though you never let it shake your own allegiance to the Order. However, when your friend Akali denounces its system as well, you can't help but wonder what — or who — you are staying for.

The branches waved beneath your feet, the shadows they cast performing a waltz amid a flurry of flower petals that seemed to swirl in a perpetual shower in Ionia. 

You tipped your head back against the trunk of the tree, turning your attention from the ground to the sky instead. It shone with a hue of blue so vivid that it was almost violet, a small voice in your mind prompting exactly who it reminded you of. The voice blew and whistled with the wind as you pushed it away, choosing instead to focus on the wooden knot beneath your fingers of the branch you sat on. 

Delicately, you traced it, shaking your head as the voice returned, bringing with it the image of his face against the sky.

Your brushing stopped abruptly as another voice arose in the form of yoru name that was so vivid it seemed like reality, a flash of panic crossing your mind as the thought of your yearning driving you to madness appeared. 

It subsided as soon as you caught a flash of navy armor among the pink flowers, only the embarrassment that you had jumped to such a conclusion lingering. 

Shen's face came into view as he called your name again, the one hand poised in front of him almost causing you to laugh out of familiarity. You couldn't help but notice that he was unmasked at the moment, though you supposed you shouldn't have been surprised — you were still within the temple's proximity after all. 

As he disappeared beneath a branch below you, you stood to hug the trunk and slid to its base, the mere sound of leaves crinkling beneath your feet enough to alert him of your presence. 

He spun with an urgency that threw you off guard, though it was nothing compared to his expression. His eyes were wide open with what could only be fear or worry, though the furrow of his brows instilled that very worry in you. They made him seem almost angry, an emotion that you saw in Shen only once. 

With a touch of fear yourself, you reached out to touch his shoulder, regretting the action slightly as he immediately tensed beneath you. 

"Is everything alright?" you asked before considering what may have him so worked up, adding, "Is the temple under attack?"

At your voice the tension almost diffused from his body, your own muscles stiffening as he removed your hand from his shoulder only to take it in his. 

"No, nothing like that," he laughed in a strained way that was unlike him, his eyes still wide. Clearing his throat, he continued, "I'm sorry if I worried you."

"It's alright, I just thought you were a bit worried yourself."

His grip on your hand tightened just enough for you to notice as he responded, "Well, I was."

You sighed inwardly as his typical nonresponsive demeanor returned, motioning you to revert to your own normal speaking pattern with him. In other words, to expect the minimum of a complete sentence to questions you kept asking as if you anticipated anything different. 

Almost as if to prove it, you said, "What were you worried about?" 

"You." 

In the moment it took for you to register what he had responded, his face shifted away from you, basking with a red glow that you attributed to the reflection of the transitioning sky colors. 

"Why?"

Shen began to speak before pausing, the scattering of petals and leaves throughout the air carrying away his unsaid words. 

"I thought you had left."

"Left?"

Although you usually would have started to feel a bit impatient with the typical back and forth, the interest that his reponses piqued in you was more than enough to subdue it. 

"Like the others," he said. It was in a voice so low it was almost carried away by the wind, but that didn't stop the words from reverberating in your head.

"Why would you think that?" you asked, almost offended after you had shown such loyalty through the departure of what had been at both times the closest people in your life. 

He shrugged in a way that swung your hand slightly, though he still didn't let go, causing your cheeks to no doubt match the sky as well. 

"You never go further than a few steps from the temple. Not for years; at least from what I know of your whereabouts."

The warm feeling in your core from the contact between you started to tangle; with his increase in speaking, your mindset had ironically adopted his previous habit of barebone answers. 

Instead of giving in to it, you reponded, "I left because I've given up. I would stay near the temple since I wanted to be the first to know if either of them came back, but now I'm not sure if I want to know even if they do."

After a second of heavy silence, Shen akwardly pulled you towards him, wrapping his arms around you in a tentative manner that you could only find endearing, especially as the last time he had done so was when Akali abandoned the Kinkou.

"You waited?" 

The words fluttered past your ear the same way the flower petals brushed against your face, making you glad that he couldn't see your bashful expression with your face tucked in the crook of his neck. 

"Every day, even though I knew they wouldn't and I shouldn't. What use is it waiting for the very people that left without a thought to the Order, much less their sibling or only friend?"

Your warm breath rebounded towards you as it fanned across his collarbone, causing you to notice for the first time since the encounter that his collar was parted almost halfway down his chest. Although it was only very slightly, seeing Shen differ from his usual appearance at all was nothing short of a miracle. 

"How did you come to that conclusion, especially after nothing eventful for such a span of time?"

You reflexively hugged him closer, failing to note that he relaxed in your hold once you did so as the gears of your mind spun towards a response. 

"I think I realized that I can only trust myself. It occured to me when we celebrated my third year at the Kinkou last week, I was looking in front of me at all the other members without seeing a single face that I started with." A laugh mingled with your sigh as you continued, "Except you, of course." 

"You can trust all of us at the Order," Shen replied with what you assumed was a touch of disappointment. 

Lowering your hands from his back to pull away slightly and look up at him, your fingers brushed against the sword sheath that was almost part of him as you studied his face. 

"I do, I just mean that I can't count on loving anybody, not while I stay in the Order." 

His eyebrows raised as soon as he heard "loving", a long and heavy pause blanketing the two of you before he spoke, a tremor that you had never heard before lacing his voice.

"You can love m-" 

The words barely left his lips before the anger that pinched his brows together when he had first approached you returned, his conversational tone fleeing. 

"Not while you stay? Do you plan on leaving?" 

He must've noticed the fear flitting across your face since he immediately removed his arms from your waist and stepped back, sighing deeply. 

"I'm sorry, I must regard your decision with honor." 

"It's not even a decision yet, Shen," you protested. 

His jaw tightened slightly at the word "yet", but he responded promptly, "There's no need to explain, I should not have made you feel as if it was the wrong choice. It is only natural that you would want to find your own path after relying on the ones of others."

"I just don't want to make you feel that it's your reponsibility like you did with Zed, especially seeing how worried you were earlier that I had left."

"Yes," he whispered, standing so still that anybody walking past would've thought that you were talking to a statue. A small petal landed on his eyelash but he made no motion to remove it, instead turning away. "That was a mistake. I will be returning to the temple now, you can follow if you'd like."

A mistake? the voice from your break on the branch practically screamed, the tangle of your feelings growing thorns. A mistake that you cared? That you showed emotion when you merely nodded at Akali's departure? Even anger, when the only other time you had done so was when the people of my village demanded me back?

You could still recall when the supposed "rescue mission" took place, the very people that had left you and your brother on the steps of the temple knocking on the very door that had opened to you simply because they had heard of your newfound status and were worried of a Noxian invasion. 

It was the only time you had heard Shen raised his voice, and you could still recall the echoes of the door as he slammed it behind him, pulling you into the next room before informing you of how much you were truly worth. You had been quite confused as the praise was in a berating tone, but several of the compliments he gave you still floated through your mind as you caught his eye while making your way through the temple. 

Now, it all seemed futile. You were so close to seeing him without a mask — his real mask, not just the physical one — for the first time. He had touched you, he had worried for you, and you could swear that he even said something about love, though even the voice wouldn't elaborate on the last point. 

Although you told yourself you were frustrated due to his initial anger, the voice did decide to pipe up at that remark, noting that it you knew it was not his supposed dissaproval with the choice, but instead the dismissal. 

Nonetheless, you followed him as your irritation gave way to the same placid acceptance that you regarded the previous heroes of your life with, the slight glow of the sword strapped to his back that fluctuated under your stare reminding you that he was simply a leader to you. 

In what you hoped was an equally tense silence for him, you trudged forward, the sky fading into a blue similar to the beginning of your excursion, though it was now much darker. 

It felt almost as if there was a wall between the two of you, though it was more of a pile of disconnected bricks stamped with the words that he left unsaid and that you left unacknowledged. 

Just as the temple came into view, Shen stopped without warning, causing you to run into him. Still irritated at him slightly for being so simultaneously uncaring yet judgemental about your choice, you opened your mouth to snap at him before he turned on his heel, reminding of you when he had first spun around as you landed on the ground from the tree. 

"Shen-" you started, your tone dropping from angry to confused in just the syllable as he took your hand, holding it close to his chest with both of his own. 

"I'm sorry," he breathed, the flower petal still clinging to his eyelashes. "I shouldn't have been angry with you, or even ended the conversation. I was just scared. Well, I still am, but I'm more scared that I'll never get the chance to say of this again." 

"Shen," you said again, this time much more carefully.

One of his hands flew to your face, his index finger pressed to your lips. 

"As much as I enjoy the sound of my name from you, I have to explain all of this before I lose my nerve."

You nodded hesitantly, your confusion only having grown. 

"I can't bear the thought of you leaving. Even after Zed and Akali, the idea worries me more than anything." He paused before quickly adding, "Of course, you can't let that stop you if you do want to leave. But you're special to me." 

The last words were hardly a whisper, the hand in front of your face sliding to your shoulder as you recognized the familiar warm tingle travel through your body. 

"I thought that their departures would only make you resentful to the Order, but you've stayed loyal to it. To me. Naturally, that's not to say that's why you're special, there are plenty of devotees. It's evident that you follow for yourself." 

You raised your hand, causing him to momentarily stop his ramble as you brushed the petal from his eyelash, leaving a tinge of blush that was the same color as the flower it came from. 

"And it'll be evident all the same, if not more, if you leave. I'm simply scared that I'd never get to see you again if we set foot in that temple with how I acted, to tend to the wounds of your missions or to listen to you hum to yourself out in the gardens. I suppose it's why I was so worried when looking for you in the first place, when I had thought you left without warning — the space between us not only would have remained unclosed, but left behind."

Your heart skipped a beat as you learned you were not alone in feeling the barrier between the two of you, each brick being slowly swept away.

"I'm scared, too, Shen. But like I said, I haven't made that decision. Besides, I've already told you why I was considering it in the first place, concerning the trust and all." 

His lips lifted with a small smile as you said so, the hand on your shoulder moving to cradle your cheek. 

"And like I was too cowardly to say, you can love me."

"I do." 

The two words had left your mouth so quickly that you weren't sure whether you or Shen was more taken aback, not to mention the initial shock at his admission. A large part of you felt dazed that you had finally definitively said it in some way, never having done so even to yourself. 

The other part noted that he had never looked more beautiful to you with those words leaving his lips. 

"I love you too," he replied, any trace of his stoic manner blown away with the wind. 

"You honor me," you said while doing your best to conceal your laugh, repeating what he had said so many times after missions and training. 

"I do," Shen responded in an almost indignant tone, rubbing circles on your cheek with his thumb, the callouses of his hands rough against your skin. "And I honor your decision, no matter what it turns out to be. After all, I'm able to teleport for a reason. As long as you don't plan on travelling to the Freljord or another region of the like, it will never be like you're truly leaving. If you would like to see me, of course." 

"For the bridge between realms, you're awfully unsure of yourself in any of them." 

His smile grew wider as he pulled you towards him by the waist, the stiffness of the first embrace completely absent. 

"What I am sure of is that you can trust me. If you make a choice, it will be safe with me. As will you."

You tipped your head up towards him just enough for your noses to touch, his steady voice betrayed by the shakiness of his breaths, not to mention the feeling of his heart distincly beating against your chest. 

"As the Eye of Twilight, I have my duties to the Kinkou, but I have no doubt that our paths will be parallel, regardless of their distance from each other." 

"Well, whether it be in the temple or somewhere halfway across Runeterra, I would always like to see you," you said, adding as an afterthought, "I would love to see you." 

The movement of his face leaning even closer towards you caused you to unconsciously mirror the action, your lips pressing together in a kiss that untangled any snarls left in your frenzy of feelings. A stray lock of his hair brushed against your forehead as you pulled him even closer by cupping his face in your hands. 

Just as his mouth parted ever so slightly, you separated, the wetness he left on your lips a foreign yet comforting feeling. 

"Still scared?" you asked, a finger gliding over a scar on his cheek. 

"Just in awe," he mused. "It's no wonder Ionia is known for its beauty." 

You glared at him as he chuckled, taken aback but pleased by his newfound boldness. 

"I trust you," you exhaled, the grateful look from Shen letting you know that he understood how much it meant when you said so. 

His hand moved under your chin as he tipped your head up only to lean in again, the sky behind you giving way to twilight.

Yep, this is Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy & Super Smash Bros. cosplaying as Akali in her K/DA Popstar outfit from League of Legends, 3rd and last reward of the Mod Pilot pack for Gamebanana. Well, it's been a while since the I did found an idea for this mod pilot for Rosalina when she cosplays as Akali. & yep, Rosalina, she does really look like a tomboy popstar of Smash, but unfortunately, I thought it would be cool to include the dragon for this one, but I’m still not the best at painting creatures, so I think this would be very cool for sure, ^^

Watched the new League of Legends K/DA MV and I really wanted to do some fan art based on Akali’s part! There were a lot of vibes that meshed well with my personal work, so I couldn’t help myself, haha!
