One day I'll properly draw my fankid for Baatar and Kuvira, but I've been thinking about him a lot recently lol While the idea of Baatar siring like a $70million racehorse and him and Kuv ending up with a lot of kids (like his own parents) is all parts intriguing, ironic, and funny to me, in my mind I always pictured them with one kid they can pour all their obsession into. Especially with Baatar having grown up feeling lost in a sea of siblings.
I've had him in my mind for years but in two very different genres, one being the very light hearted Spy x Family-esque younger years and then the later idea where he grows up to be the sort of "next gen" villain who is even worse than his parents were. I always felt Baatar and Kuvira lent themselves well to being the start of a generational antagonist family because I truly feel like their DNA combined would create the Homelander of the avatar universe or something. I just struggle to combine those two aspects into a character that feels cohesive~ (though that is what AU's are for I guess lol)
#LoK Thoughts#[ I give him the other half of Kuvira's villain arc so that she doesn't have 50 thousand things going on at once like in the show#the idea of their kid being “oh hes worse so much worse” is so fun to me#because I love the idea of all their traits being combined into a single human being lol#they'd be the scariest person on earth#very “with their powers combined I will wreak such havoc on humanity” coded#but his parents are still obsessed with him and do not want to go against him even if they don't agree#like he's their sweet precious angel baby boy he would never!#but he so clearly would and is ]
