First of all, I'm so happy you want to get into mori kei!! ^o^ I hope you are able to find comfort in this wonderful style, as well as in the community! Ask as many questions to as many people as you want, I promise we are all nice and willing to help! -`♡´-

Now, since it's starting to get toasty where I live, let me say that wearing mori in hot weather is damn near torture. ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)° I understand your pain! The real problem here is the layering, which is a big part of mori as a whole. However, you can get away with wearing less layered outfits and still have that "mori look".

What do I mean by this?

Well...Let me make a list! ^^

1. Tops:

First and foremost, try to go for thinner, loose fitting blouses, tops, tunics or shirts. These are usually pretty easy to layer underneath a thinner, flowy dress (or even the opposite, depending on the type of coord you're aiming for!) and get that mori kei look without getting too hot!

Aim for short sleeves (or even those with straps/strapless), with natural, breathable materials like cotton or linen, and don't worry about layering too much, as it will cause you to get too hot!

2. Bottoms:

For the bottoms, try to look for flowy skirts (long, midi or short--remember, it will always come down to preference), or even some shorts! These are heaven sent for wearing mori in the summer, trust me! You can layer them underneath a loose tunic or a shorter dress, and put a thin lace vest on top and bam! you have a mori coord right there!

This is a personal preference, but I also like to wear jeans with mori, but those can get pretty hot for some people! If you prefer to wear trousers (or just want to), try to choose those that are flowy, loose and have natural, breathable fabrics. Go for either cotton, linen or denim since those are the most comfortable and breezy.

3. Shoes and Socks:

For shoes, look for something comfortable and not too heavy/hot. Sandals, or even Oxfords, as long as they are breathable and light, are the safest bet for you. Some white or beige cloth snickers will do the trick pretty easily as well, but, like I said, it will come down to preference at the end of the day.

Socks can get your feet pretty hot, but if you still want to use them, look for thinner socks made out of cotton, as those tend to be the lightest on the feet!

4. Accessories:

When it comes to accessories, avoid using anything made out of wool or crochet, as the materials are usually heavier and will make you hotter! Instead, opt for something lighter and easily removable, like pendants or thin bracelets.

Hair accessories are fine for the most part, but avoid any wool hats or anything that is too heavy and go for straw hats, for example! You can also add lace and doilies to them to make them cuter o(≧∀≦)o

If you don't like to accessorize that much, that's fine too!

At the end of the day, the most important part of mori kei is to be relaxed and not stress too much about it! It can be hard in the beginning to nail the coords, and you might feel like giving up. But remember, a mori wardrobe is not built overnight, and it usually takes a while for you to get to a place where you have all the pieces you need (or even want). There will be a lot of trail and error, but I assure you that once you get the hang of it (and once you find your own personal mori look) you won't want to go back! (✿◡‿◡)

Heyo I don't know if this is a good place to ask, but. Our partner system has recently had alters born within their system (natalgenic) and we've been struggling to find anything about how other systems raise literal brain babies.

We've both been finding out as much as we can about childcare, but with the kids being born in-sys, there's just. Quite a few things that are different (like ya know, the whole different people controlling the body thing).

If anyone has any resources or advice of any kind, it would be greatly appreciated!!

This is a tough one, but according to the internet, here's some things I'd recommend. Under a cut for length reasons. Also, the advice about trauma is easy to skip if it doesn't apply to you. I'm not trying to assume anyone's origins, just covering all the variables haha.

Keep in mind that baby headmates can have severe trauma and trauma responses like any other system member. Trauma can happen at any age, any time. Also, what's traumatic to a baby is a much lower threshold than adults for obvious reasons. The body keeps score even if you don't remember the event.

Babies often have basic feelings such as happy, sadness, scared, etc., and they're commonly without speech. (They may or may not understand language on a conception level, but unable to express themselves through it for whatever reason).

You might need help taking care of them properly. I'd strongly suggest supervision during fronting, either internally (co-front) or externally (someone in the outerworld watching them).

I'm not one to promote forcing people to stay away from front since it's really shitty to do that in most cases, but if they genuinely have no way of guaranteeing the system's safety (due to the inherent vulnerability of an infant), it might be best.

If you CAN let them front though, try to set up the area around you in advance. Sensory items, blankets, a pillow fort, toys, somewhere to read or listen to music, maybe even some kid's TV, things like that.

Like you already mentioned, parenting books might be helpful. I'd personally go for things geared around newborns, or whatever age the headmate is.

Babies form for tons of reasons; innerworld pregnancy, being traumalocked, needing to have basic needs met more often, brain just decided "idk man why not", etc. It's in no way required to know (and certainly not worth stressing about), but if you happen to be able to figure out why they formed, you could change your approach to suit whatever helps them grow and heal.

Speaking of growth! They might not be babies forever. I unfortunately do not have a crystal ball, but some alters can age later on. The kids in your system might just be that type of brainmate y'know? So be prepared just in case.

To answer your question, I actually have a few, even though I am not one to over-accessorize!

However, my normal "go to" are:

Necklaces, usually made out of gold, wool or crochet, with quirky designs and forest/animal motifs

Scarves, for when it gets cold in the autumn or winter months

Socks (do these count? lmao), since I loooove socks with quirky motifs, and I love to put them on top of leggings and scrunch them up ^ ^

Brooches of any kind, normally with forest and animal motifs as well

Hair accessories, like crocheted hairclips or hairbands

Accessories like bracelets and rings are very rare for me because I have sensory issues, so I usually end up taking them off just after a hours of using them! YoY

Also, since I like to crochet, I often try to make my own accessories, whenever I have the time to do so! Otherwise, I buy accessories that could work with mori and "morify" them even further! ～⁠(⁠つ⁠ˆOˆ⁠)⁠つ⁠｡⁠☆

What probably sticks out the most to me about Kaiser is that he has somehow managed to have by all accounts (though admittedly there have not been many accounts) an extremely functional relationship with his wife in a world of extremely convoluted and dysfunctional relationships and extremely unnecessary love shapes. Romantic ships in the world of Black Clover are quite frankly exhausting unless you are a side character (and both you and your significant other are alive), and I think Kaiser should get all the kudos just for managing to have (what I like to think is) a pretty solid marriage! Kaiser Granvorka x his wife for the win, friends!

In all seriousness though, Kaiser seems like a very decent, honorable man. He really steps up for the Purple Orcas when they are at their lowest and tries his best to restore them as a respectable Magic Knight squad. We don't know a lot about him, but he seems very reasonable and level-headed and is a strong leader but also very humble which is a stark contrast to a lot of the more notorious members of his squad (i.e. Gueldre and Xerx). He also seems to be very emotionally sturdy and unphased--just kind of quietly going about his business as opposed to the other Magic Knight Captains who really either command attention through strong personalities and presence and/or garner it with these big, chaotic personalities or behaviors. Also, he really seems to genuinely love and respect his wife which in an ideal world wouldn't be so noteworthy but in this world where there is so much rampant disrespect, infidelity, and unhappy marriages ect. ect. amongst the Clover Kingdom nobility of that older generation/Kaiser's generation, it is nice to see that at least someone is actually acting like a decent human and taking his marriage and wedding vows seriously (and, probably drinking his respect women juice, too. I get those vibes from him! He's a good man!).

Also, his magic is really cool! A vortex magic is just such an interesting concept, and I wish we got to see more of it!

For a Kaiser-song, I feel like I really have to highlight his incredibly functional relationship with his wife that (it seems) he does take very seriously and is very important to him. They have been together for a long time and that's nothing to scoff at, especially since he really seems to have genuine love and respect for her even after all of these years. Seriously, I have so many feelings about Kaiser and his wife right now, so I have chosen the song "When I Said I Do" for him. 💕
