TMI Tuesday question - How much research do you do for fics? Is it important to you to be as accurate as possible or are you ok with making some stuff up if it fits the fic better?

This is very difficult to answer because I don't like to be WRONG but I also try not to go on crazy research quests. I would say I try to write around details I can't confirm xD I also tend to surround myself with people who have niche interests/are good at research so that I can ask questions as needed, which is super helpful xD If I'm going to actually be wrong, I like to know that I'm wrong at least and know that I've made that conscious choice and you'll probabaly see a disclaimer. Again because I don't like to be wrong lololol
