It had been a couple of days since your last conversation with Lando and a knock on your door drew your attention away from your phone.

A giant box was sitting on the doorstep alone with no sender information. You hesitantly brought it into the living room and grabbed a pocket knife to cut through the clear strip of tape. The box quickly burst open from the pressure of the deeply packed objects—about a dozen jellycats and an apology note placed on top. 

It was clear to you that this package was from Lando, and it was a very sweet gesture. He’d clearly seen the post you made the previous day and was trying his best to make up for his mistakes. You sighed and folded the note up, setting it on your couch. You pulled out a soft pink bunny from the box causing Camila to squeal and hold her arms open. 

You still hadn’t checked your texts from Lando, but Oscar was right. You couldn’t ignore him forever. Lily offered to take you out for the night in order to clear your head. You were extremely grateful for Lily’s support and generosity ever since you met her. She had truly become one of your best friends throughout this experience.

You sat next to Lily with a glass of white wine in your hand, conflicted. Of course you were. Like Oscar said, you had to confront him at some point, but it was going to take a lot for you to trust Lando again. You pulled your phone out of your purse.

You got the response pretty much immediately.

You sighed and turned to Lily, "I'm gonna go talk to Lando."

"Good luck," she said with a smile, and took another sip of her drink.

You picked Camila up off the couch and bundled her up in a small yellow blanket.

You were at his apartment in about twenty minutes. You knocked hesitantly, tapping your nails on the case of your phone and jangling your keys in attempt to reduce your anxiety. Lando opened the door in silence, letting you into the room. He sat back down on his couch and you followed, cradling your daughter in your arms and choosing to stand up as you spoke.

“Listen Y/n, I know what I did was-“

"I'm not going to take your child away from you,” you stated, cutting him off. “You said you want to be in her life, but you have to keep that promise."

He nodded and ran his hands across his face. You wanted to get straight to the point with no excuses. You had heard all of his apologies already.

"Lily talked to Kmag and found her a babysitter, so we're good on that end. But, you still have to earn back my trust to be alone with her and if anything like this happens again I won't be nice."

He looked back up at you, “It won’t ever happen again, I swear. It shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

”I agree.”

There was some awkward silence as you gently sat on the arm rest of the couch.

You looked down at your daughter, “She may not fully get it yet, but you’re her dad and she loves you,” you locked eyes with Lando again. “You chose to raise her with me, so you need to take responsibility.”

He nodded, “I understand.”

"Good," you responded, standing back up and stepping towards the front door. You paused without turning your head back towards him, "Good luck in Imola.”

With that you were gone.

“Get your shit together” you said to yourself in the mirror. Standing in the RB  garage bathroom, gripping the sink with all your strength while trying to tame the boiling anxiety coursing through your body. It's officially the first race day and all the fears and doubts came crashing down on you. It’s normal to be nervous on the first day, you said to yourself, but is it normal to be physically nauseous? Probably not, but here we are. “You can do this Yn, you know what you're capable of” you keep repeating out loud like a mantra, hoping it will stop the burning and sinking feeling in your stomach.

A voice calling out your name snapped you out of the spiraling daze. “Are you in there?” said a voice you recognize as your race engineer. “Yeah, give me a second i'll be out” you shout from the other side of the door. Receiving a ‘Okay’ from them as you turn on the faucet and put your clammy hands under the cold water. Urgently splashing your face, hoping to bring you out the anxiety induced haze. Straightening up, you dab the moisture off your face and discard the paper towel. Fixing your tied back hair and the race suit that's zipped up to your hips. With a more of a shaky chuckle, you flash thumbs up to yourself in the mirror and whisper “You got this girl” before unlocking the bathroom door and stepping out to the bustling and roaring garage.

Walking back to your side of the garage, you spot Daniel speaking to one of your engineers. “There you are” spoke the familiar Aussie accent as you two made eye contact, seeing his infectious smile only made the corner of your lips twitch upwards. “How are you feeling, everything okay?” said Daniel as you approached the screens where he's standing. With a nervous chuckle, you spoke “Honestly, anxiety is gnawing at my insides, but I've pep talked myself in the mirror so hopefully I won't spiral completely” as you shifted your gaze from the screen to him. The Aussie had a soft and understanding expression on his face as he reassured you in a comforting tone “You're gonna be just fine, trust me” as he placed his hand on your shoulder “I know how you feel and that's completely valid. Nerves mean you care—use them. Trust your prep, feel the car, and have fun. The first race is unforgettable. You’ve got this, you're a good driver and you know it.”. The way his tone was sincere and caring and that warm smile and the grounding hand on your shoulder made the burning pit in your stomach slightly fade away. With more confidence in your stance, and that smile finally appearing on your face, you thanked him “Thank you for saying that, you don't how much it means to me. I promise to give it my best and not let the fear swallow me whole,” you end the sentence with a soft chuckle. With a chuckle of his own, his arms wrapped around your shoulders as he pulled you in a reassuring and warm embrace, patting your back gently. Your hands instinctively found their way onto his upper back, mimicking his patting motion.

NORMALLY, JING YUAN would feel no guilt for showing up late to a meeting, especially if it was under ten minutes. But this time he was close to cursing himself and other people out for being late to his date.

It was a miracle he was under ten minutes late in his eyes, he would never want to make you wait.

Parking his car nearby the place you had requested to meet him, he steps out onto the gravel. Reaching out to the passenger seat for the basket you had requested of him, making sure to lock his car before walking over to where you were standing.

Leaning against a bollard, you looked up from your phone at him with a smile, "Hey."

Oh how badly he wanted the roles to be reversed in that moment. For you to be the model and for him to be the photographer. The way the sun illuminated your face and glinted off the camera around your neck was one he would've given anything to remember for a life time ahead.

“Hey,” he returned with the same smile, wondering if he had the same effect on you as you did on him; rendered to nothing but pure adoration.

"You got a basket?" you tilt your head, swinging your own woven basket in your hand.

He nodded.

Signaling for him to follow you, he trails behind you on a dirt path now wishing he had worn slightly less expensive shoes to your date. You had noticed his slow steps behind you and paused your own for him to catch up, only for you to grab his hand once he had caught up; leading him to the chosen destination.

He hadn't flinched at the contact of your hand hold his, but on the inside he was shamelessly swooning. To busy being distracted at your initiative to hold his hand, he didn't bother to notice the change of scenery around him.

Turning towards him, you see his attention fully on your hand grasping his making you sigh. "Jing yuan, we're here."

Looking up, his eyes widen in awe at the sight of a field of daisies before him.

Noticing how his eyes sparkled and mouth gawked at the amount of flowers you question him, "Have you never taken a photoshoot in field of flowers before?"

Shaking his head, he notices your visible confusion at his answer.

"Well, do you want to?"

"What do you mean?"

"Have a photoshoot in a flower field," you offered, "I specifically suggested this place because the daisies reminded me of you."

Jing yuan smiled to himself at your words, glad to have at least taken up some space in your mind. "It's a kind offer, but I'd rather have this date be about us rather than work."

Nodding in understanding, you begin to carefully step into the field as to not squash any of the flowers under your feet.

"C'mon! We don't have all day now Jing yuan!"

"Naito~" You gave him a begging look as you absentmindedly lock your arms on his as both of you walked shoulder by shoulder. Him still giving an uninterested look while looking straight.

"Come on! Just one! I promise, like promise- promise I won't bother you!" You tried to persuade the male as he only hum in response, of course, he already knew that it was a lie afterall. The last time he had agreed with your needs, you pulled out that card on him yet still didn't continue your promises. Which he was pissed off about (back then).

"Do you really believe that I would give in? You have to try harder than that." He muses while giving you a brief glance, eyes locking with yours as you pouted. You frowned, "What do you mean?"

You know what he means, but still. "Don't play around. I'm not made for your games." Mudano Naito spat as he stops his walk, making you halt on your own too, looking at him in confusion before grinning and giving him a wink.

"C'mon. I know you can't resist me." You smirked and grabbed both his cheek, earning a raised brow and amusement gleam in his eyes- trying to figure out what you have on your cup this time. You tattered his neck with butterfly kisses as he immediately knew what you were up to. Seriously? This girl... She's wasting time.

"Seduction won't work." Is what he said, but you knew better than this. He might be unbothered to others, but to you is a different case. "It will, Sir. Trust me." You chuckled as you sensually clash your lips to his when he was distracted, giving him a peck at first then take an action of what is the main part.

"Seems that "Mudano-sensei" is very negligent after all."

"Got nothing else to do, Doctor?" You mused at him as you raise a brow at his leaning frame at the door. Looking at you with cheeky grin, he made his way towards you casually. Focusing your full attention to him, your head tilted to the side.

"Nope, sweets. That's why I decided to take a visit." He proudly stated and gave you a wink. "How about you? Miss me?" He wriggle his eyebrows at you as you scoff at him in response. Rolling an eye, you smiled. "No."

He then pouted and lean near the desk you're working on. Putting his chin ontop of your head- you stare as him with amusement.

"Isn't this a very intimate moment? I thought we could kiss." He dramatically sighed as you look at him dumbfounded, unable to get he point of the statement.

"Are you trying to ask me for a kiss indirectly?" You asked him as he grinned, taking your hand as he kissed while maintaining eye contact- "Got it right, sweets."

"... Fine. Only because you look adorable." You smiled and he didn't hesitate to connect you and him together. What a wonderful day to start.

"No no no no, and no." Masumi gave you a dirty look with his creepy smile as veins start to pop on his face, pissing him off to the max- don't even beg on him. Who the fuck-

"Could you stop? I told you already." He sighed and gave you a head pat, trying to reduce his blood boiling and tries to be understanding instead. Somehow... He had gotten such clingy lover for TODAY, and it's somewhat suspicious.

"No. I'm not giving up. You've been like this since ages!" You stared at him with saddened eye, trying to guilt trip him (which you know you'll fail anyway)- you continued, "why can't you focus on me for once."

You huffed and crosses your arms to look at him. With the action, Masumi sighed and shake his head. "I swear if this isn't worth my time-" he paused and asked, "what do you want, specifically?"

"A kiss."

"...no." Masumi pressed again with a teasing smile on his face. Silently mocking how you're so desperate for him- he chuckled at your reaction. Although, he wanted to see more, it's time to tend some baby he picked up from somewhere.

"Alright, alright. Come here." He opened his arms as your eyes gleamed in joy, immediately running to him to give him a tightest hug- your lips are long connected to his as you try to deepen it but he stopped it eventually. Trying to tease you again- which he never fails at.

"Ah, ah , ah. Be a good girl for me, sweetheart, and you might be able to get more than that, hm?" He pat your head as you nodded without hesitation.

"Good girl."

You gripped the sides of your head in panic as you stared at the legs in front of you.

You were currently stuck underneath the table of the famous boy band, BTS; if your existence were revealed, it'd be over for you.

I'm too pretty to go to jail, you thought, shivering in terror at the thought of getting arrested because of a stupid mistake.

"Okay, ____. Don't panic," you mumbled to yourself, clenching and unclenching your hands in a rhythmic beat to calm yourself.

After successfully calming down, you reached into your back pocket and fetched out your phone.

A small bit of terror mixed with frustration ran through your veins when you saw that it was down to ten percent.

With no time to waste, you hurried to your contacts, shooting Seora a quick text.

____ Seora!

Not even a second later, you saw her typing back.

You sat for a few seconds, thinking it over; it sounded like a good idea, but the flaws were immediately pointed out to you.

____ There might be people coming to clean up after What if they catch me?

As typing bubbles popped up from Seora's, most likely, long paragraph, your phone began powering down before completely cutting off.

The panic you felt earlier returned ten-fold. "No. No. No. No," you whispered as you repeatedly pressed the power button; the screen cut back on shortly only to show that it was currently on zero percent before cutting back off.

You pressed your face into your hands in defeat, allowing your dead phone to fall into your lap; you were doomed.

The excited giggles and deep chuckles brought you back from your mini-self-pitying fest.

Right.

You were stuck under the table of BTS during their fan-meeting with no means of communication.

At this point, all you could do was wait.

For the past two hours, you've been stuck in the same position: sitting, legs crossed, with your hands buried deep into your lap.

Your mind had been in shambles since your phone died, leaving you stranded and at the mercy of fate. At this point, anything could happen, whether it be you getting caught or actually making it out without consequences.

Every time you felt yourself slipping into a trance, thinking that you were just dreaming, a sharp squeal of happiness would tear you away as a fan got a brief moment to speak with the famous idols.

Though, occasionally, you'd move sideways when one of them stretched their legs a little too close to you.

You didn't think you'd last if you had to wait another hour.

Fortunately, your prayers must have been answered because not even ten minutes later, the announcer went on to thank everyone for coming out to support BTS.

As the idol group stood up from the table, giving the audience an in-sync bow, you could hear the whining of the fans wanting the fan-meeting to last longer; soon enough, BTS exited the room, leaving you to sigh and breathe in relief.

Shots of nerves left your frame as you heard the sound of the audience dwindle. The room was as empty as it was when you and the volunteers left to take group pictures.

This was your chance to leave before the cleaning crew came.

Heaving yourself up onto your knees, you began crawling toward the end of the table. Just as you reached the end, you were stopped by something holding onto your shoe.

You wanted to turn around to see what was holding you back, but the sound of the metal door, that led you to your doom, opening filled your ears followed by a male's voice, "The room's empty now, so I'll go fetch a few staff members to help me gather the chairs before mopping. We should be done in less than two hours."

You have to hurry!

Tugging harder, you snatched and kicked your foot until it was set free; you allowed a relief-filled sigh to exit your body.

But relief immediately turned into shock when a loud crash echoed all around you.

Looking over your shoulder to find the source of the noise, you were met with the other end of the table broken down onto the floor.

The voice from earlier spoke out, causing your heart to stutter in fear within your chest. "What the hell was that?" The sound of footsteps grew nearer as the man came towards you.

Panic filled your body for the umpteenth time that day.

You were going to get caught!

With no time to think, you did the first thing that entered your mind: you reached for your foot, yanked off your shoe, and threw it as far as you could from underneath the table.

The sound of the shoe meeting one of the chairs caused a bigger crash to fill the room as it knocked over neighboring chairs.

You nearly shed tears as the direction of the man's footsteps drifted away from your direction towards the fallen chairs.

Peeking underneath the purple cloth, you watched as the man stared down at your flame-decorated Converse in confusion before picking up the chairs. Taking the chance, you rolled out from underneath the table before scurrying towards the door like a bug.

You cracked open the door wide enough for your body to slip through, nearly sobbing when you made it outside.

Raising yourself onto shaky legs, you allowed tears of relief to well up inside of your eyes. You couldn't believe you made it.

Your moment of serenity didn't last too long due to the sound of incoming footsteps.

Looking over, you were met with the face of the teller from earlier that day. "Ms. Han? Where is your shoe and what are you still doing here? Volunteers were dismissed nearly four hours ago."

Your mouth opened and closed several times. "I-I..." Shit. You didn't think you'd run into someone so soon; you'd hoped you'd make it to the nearest restroom and pretend that you had massive diarrhea or something.

Think, ____! Think!  Your mind screamed as the teller stared down at you, waiting for an answer.

"My shoe mysteriously disappeared while I was in the restroom. I spent the last three hours searching for them before giving up," you stated in the best ditzy impression you could muster. "I suspect the Nargles are behind it."

The teller was quiet for a few seconds, trying to understand your sentence. "The...Nargles?"

"Yes, the Nargles. Mischievous creatures they are. But I suppose they're far away now, celebrating their haul." You smiled, swaying gently side-to-side.

On the inside, you were crying tears of embarrassment, but you knew this would be the only way to get out without having to really explain what happened.

The look on the teller's face was priceless at the act you put on. Before he could say anything, you began walking away in a dream-like daze. "I best get home before it gets too late. I hear that the Wrackspurts love to come out around midnight." And as soon as you were out of the teller's sight, you sprinted out of the building as fast as you could go.

The teller had a confused and disturbed look on his face as he watched you walk away with one shoe on foot.

He couldn't help but repeat the names of the strange creatures you brought up in the midst of his questioning you; so into his thoughts, he didn't notice the door opening, allowing the body of the man that almost caught you earlier to come out.

"Hey Ken, you won't believe this," the man spoke, breaking the teller away from his thoughts.

"Huh?" Ken asked, looking over to his friend. "What is it, Nathan?"

"I think one of the members left their hoodie behind, I found it underneath the table," the man said, lifting an oversized red hoodie before holding up a flame-decorated shoe. "Oh, I also found this shoe sitting in the middle of the room."

Ken's eyes widened at the shoe, he recognized it: it was the missing shoe you were looking for. "The Nargles," he gasped, his mouth falling open in awe.

Looking from Nathan to the shoe, Ken snatched the shoe away from him before sprinting down the hall, calling for you, "Ms. Han! Here's your shoe! The Nargles left behind in the fan-meeting room!"

Nathan was taken aback by this. "Nargles? What the fuck are Nargles?"

Trixie smiled slightly before turning off her phone and putting it in her karate bag. “Hey, Trixie!” Miguel waved and Trixie waved back with a smile. Although she was conflicted about her feelings, she wasn’t about to put herself first over her friends.

Johnny came out of his office and yelled for everyone to get in line. Everyone, now dressed in white gis of their own, got into their places and waited for instructions. "Bow. Fighting positions." Johnny instructed. Everyone got into their positions as Johnny surveyed them, making sure everyone was standing the right way. Johnny walks over to Hawk and kicks his leg forward. "Stabilize your base, Hawk. Keep your balance. Full rotation when you strike." Johnny explained, showing him what he meant. 

Hawk nodded and fixed his stance. "Yes, Sensei!"

Johnny turned one of the kids, making him flinch. "Did you just flinch, Virgin?" Johnny asked. The kid kept his eyes forward and didn't respond. Johnny went to the kid behind him and went at him, making him flinch as well. "Holy shit. We got a room full of flinchers." Johnny stated, looking around the room. 

"Yes, Sensei." Everyone except Trixie yelled. Were they dumb? "That was not a question! Raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face." 

Everyone except Trixie, Miguel, and Aisha raised their hands, making Johnny grimace. "Put your hands down. All your lives, you've been avoiding fights so you don't break your nose or lose a tooth. This concussion nonsense. So, there's only one solution, and that is before you leave this dojo, each and every one of you is gonna take a punch, very hard, to the face." Johnny stated.

Trixie looked at Miguel who was staring at Johnny horrified. "Ms. Robinson. Line em up. Unflinch this group." Aisha nodded as Johnny walked off to his office. She walked over to Virgin and cracked her knuckles, making him gulp.

 She reared her arm back and punched him. A loud crack was heard and blood came spewing from his nose. The boy clutched his nose in pain. "Hey, I need to go talk to sensei. Can you take care of things here?" Miguel asked Trixie. She nodded. 

"I've got it under control." She nodded, helping Virgin clean his nose. Miguel walked into Johnny's office and sighed.

 "Hey, sensei, I need to ask you something," Miguel stated.

 "First aid's under the counter. We got a bleeder?" Johnny asked, looking up from the magazine he was reading. 

"No. Well, yeah, we do. There's a lot of blood, but this is about something else."

 "What is it?" 

"There's this girl at school..." 

"Is she hot?" 

"She's super smart-" 

"Hot?" 

"Funny and cool." 

"Hot?" 

"Yes, she's hot. Super hot." 

"Nice." 

"I think you'd really like her. She likes karate, and… I wanna ask her out, but I just don't know." Miguel said, slightly nervous about asking Sam out. Was it Sam?

"Don't know? What's there to think about? She's hot, and all those other things." Johnny stated, getting up from his desk. 

"Well, yeah, but what if she says no?" Miguel asked.

 "Never accept defeat, Diaz. There is no 'no.'" 

"Pretty sure no means no." 

"Yeah, if things are getting physical, no means no, but if you're just asking her out... you're a Cobra Kai. All the babes wanna date a Cobra Kai." A knock was heard at the door and the two looked up to see Trixie leaning against it, some blood on her gi. "Hey Sensei. We need some more bandages and tissues." She stated. 

"Under the counter." 

Trixie looked at the magazine in Johnny's hand and tilted her head. "Are we entering that tournament?" She asked, pointing to the page.

 "I don't think we're ready yet." He replied. 

A loud grunt was heard and the three looked over to see Hawk laying on the ground. "He's ok!" Aisha yelled.

 "I'm ok. Just my tooth." He mumbled, getting off the ground. Trixie looked back at the two and they all shrugged. _____________________________________________________

Miguel, Aisha, and Eli (Now Hawk) sat down next to Trixie as they started stretching as well. “Aisha was talking to me about Sam and…” Miguel said, “I asked her out yesterday!”

Trixie widened her eyes, clearly shocked and slightly upset before giving him a supporting smile. “That’s amazing! You got a place in mind?” She asked.

“You could take her to get tattoos.” Hawk suggested. Trixie pursed her lips slightly as she did the splits.

“Is that even legal?” She asked quietly and Hawk shrugged and stood up, untying his white belt.

“I know a guy, just hooked me up with this bad boy.” He said and took off his shirt to reveal a hawk on his back. Trixie widened her eyes as she saw the large tattoo.

“Oh shit.” Miguel muttered.

“That is badass.” Aisha commented as she looked at Hawk in disbelief, after all, he switched up pretty quickly.

“Right? Fourteen hours in the chair.” Hawk smirked as he posed in one of the mirrors.

“Dude, your parents are gonna freak out if they see you have that tattoo.” Trixie chuckled, “There’s no way you’re getting past them.”

“Oh, they have no idea.” Hawk said, covering himself back up with the gi. “Definitely gonna have to wear a t-shirt until college. Probably longer.” He said and sat back down, “Please don’t tell them.”

Trixie stretched her other leg before Miguel spoke up again, “Uh… Any other suggestions?” He looked at Aisha curiously.

“Don’t look at me. Sam and I used to be friends. Not anymore.” She said bitterly.

“Okay, but I need your help.” Miguel sighed.

“Fine. Um… I know that she likes chocolate and astronomy.” Aisha said vaguely, “If you want more, go ask Trixie. Not me.”

Miguel turned to Trixie with a desperate smile and she sighed. “Well, I know that she used to go to this one place called Golf ‘N Stuff. They have an arcade there and you could probably win her something.”

“Thanks so much, Trixie.” Miguel smiled happily and Trixie felt her heart clench before moving onto doing a side split.

“No problem.” Trixie smiled slightly before twisting her torso and cracking her back.

“Banned?!” Everyone heard their sensei’s voice yell loudly. Miguel jumped up and Trixie quickly followed. “No, you don’t ban me! I’ll ban you!” He yelled loudly and slammed the phone down as Miguel and Trixie came into the office.

“Sensei, what’s going on?” Miguel asked, seeing the evident frustration in his tone.

“There’s a lifetime ban on Cobra Kai from entering the tournament.” Sensei Lawrence explained. Trixie widened her eyes.

“Since when were we going to be entering a tournament?” Trixie asked with a slightly confused expression, “And how is that fair on Cobra Kai?”

“Since now.” Sensei said, “And it’s not… There’s nothing I can do about it.” Sensei Lawrence sat down in his chair with a grunt.

"It's not. There's nothing I can do about it." Johnny sighed, sinking into his chair. 

"What happened to 'never accept defeat?'" Miguel asked.

 "This is different. This is the real world. There are rules." Johnny replied, waving his hands. 

"Since when do you care about the rules? We don't take no for an answer, you said that! You gotta fight this." Trixie said, trying to encourage him.

"You know what? You're right. I'm gonna go down there..." 

"Yeah." 

"... And beat their asses." 

"Yeah. Wait! No, no, no! That's not what we meant. Maybe there's a more delicate approach?" Miguel compromised and Johnny looked at him, unimpressed.

"The way of the fist is not delicate. Cobras are not delicate." 

"Yes, yes, sorry. I… Forget delicate. I'm just saying, maybe there's a smarter way to fight back?" 

Johnny looked at him confused. "What do you mean?" He asked. _____________________________________________________

“Hey.” Patrick knocked on Trixie’s door, “Unlock the door.”

Trixie looked up from her phone, unlocking her door with a guilty smile. “Sorry, I’ve gotta stop with the habit I know.” She said and Patrick nodded.

“You take your antidepressants today?” Patrick asked.

“Yes, Trick. Don’t worry about it.” Trixie answered with an eye roll and Patrick crossed his arms with an unimpressed look. She stared back at him before grumbling under her breath, “I skipped one day.”

Patrick shook his head with a sigh, “Did you take them today?” He asked and Trixie nodded, not looking at her brother as she went back to sitting in her desk chair and scrolling on her phone.

“Yes, don’t worry. I was just really busy yesterday, that’s all.” She gave her brother a reassuring smile and Patrick nodded once again before closing her bedroom door.

Trixie’s phone buzzed and she looked to see messages from Miguel and Robby.

Pinkie Pie 🐽: Hey! Come to the dojo!  Good news!!!

Willy Wonka🍫: You forgot to text me 😔 Wanna hang out tonight???

She bit her lip before sending both of her friends text messages before sliding on a jacket and leaving her room.

The door to the dojo opened and Miguel came running in, excitedly pulling his helmet off. "Ooh, who's the man?" He asked excitedly.

 "I'm the man," Johnny replied. Miguel looked at him with a grin and raised eyebrows. "Oh shit. Are you the man too? Tell me you're the man." 

Miguel tossed his backpack and helmet and spread out his arms. "I'm the man! I crushed the date!" Miguel yelled, running up to his sensei 

"I crushed the committee meeting," Johnny replied back with a smile. 

"So, Cobra Kai's in?" 

"Hell, yeah, we're in. Cobra Kai's back, baby." Miguel and Johnny hugged before. 

The door to the dojo swung open once again to reveal Trixie, who had a messily put jacket on and a tank top. It was weird, they’d never seen her wear short sleeves before.

“I came as soon as I could!” She smiled, “I heard something about good news?”

“Me and Sam kissed!” “We’re back in the All Valley Tournament!” Johnny and Miguel both said and Trixie wasn’t sure if she should’ve been happy or upset.

On one hand, HELL YEAH THEY WERE BACK IN THE TOURNAMENT! On the other, oh fuck one of my best friends and my crush (???) kissed. She decided to go with the first option. “Hell yeah! Let’s go!” She smiled and high-fived Johnny with a smile.

"All right, I'm gonna go grab us a soda. Do you want a Banquet?" Miguel asked, pointing at Johnny.

 "No, no. This calls for a real toast." Johnny stated, walking into his office. He came back out with 3 cups and a bottle of wine. "The good stuff, for real men. And a woman." Johnny added the last part, making Trixie chuckle. He poured Trixie and Miguel a cup before pouring one for himself. Miguel sniffed the cup and gagged. "Drink it. It'll put hair on your balls." Johnny stated, making Trixie groan in disgust. 

"Is that a good thing?" Miguel asked, slightly confused. 

"No," Trixie replied with a grimace. 

"To Cobra Kai." Miguel toasted. 

"Never accept defeat," Johnny added. 

"And striking first." Trixie said as the three hit their cups together before taking a swig. Miguel and Trixie's faces turned into disgust while Johnny downed his with ease. "Well, I'm never drinking again," She said, her voice raspy. 

"You'll get used to it." Johnny shrugged. "Since we're entering the tournament, you two need to train harder."

She nodded, coughing roughly as she got another text message, probably from Robby.

Willy Wonka🍫: You forgot to text me 😔 Wanna hang out tomorrow night???

Yeah totally! Where’d you wanna go?

Willy Wonka🍫: Heard there was a pretty cool restaurant downtown

We could totally go! I can give you my address and you can pick me up? Or I can pick you up

Willy Wonka🍫: What gentlemen would I be if I didn’t pick you up? But yes, I don't have a license so you might have to pick me up

Trixie chuckled at the text message, catching Miguel’s attention. “What’re you laughing at?” He asked curiously. She shrugged.

“Nothing, just a friend.” She smiled and Miguel looked over her shoulder to see her text messages.

“Willy Wonka?” Miguel said with a confused frown. Trixie shrugged the look off and nodded.

“It’s an inside joke I guess. We’re going to that new restaurant downtown since he invited me.” She explained and Miguel nodded, staying silent which Trixie frowned slightly weird.

“Just by yourselves?” He asked and Trixie nodded, slightly confused by his question.

“Um, yeah. I mean, it’s not like we can afford more food for people.” She smiled and Miguel slightly chuckled, though his smile didn’t reach his eyes. Trixie changed the subject, not knowing why he was starting to get so touchy about it. “Anyways, do you think we’ll win the All Valley?”

“Totally, we’re Cobra Kai.” Miguel said, holding out his fist to which Trixie fist-bumped him with a nod.

“Well, I guess if we do win and it’s just us left, we’ll have to face each other, right?” Trixie asked and Miguel raised an eyebrow.

“What? Think you can beat me?” He asked and Trixie shrugged with a teasing smirk.

“I dunno, do you think I could beat you?” _____________________________________________________

“Hey, Sam!” Trixie waved as Sam opened the door. The blue-eyed girl smiled wide.

“Hey, Trix. You’re just in time for dinner, did you wanna stay? We have enough for everyone.” She offered and Trixie shook her head as she walked inside the house.

“Nah, I’m just here to pick up my sweater.” Trixie said before giving Sam a pointed look. “That you stole by the way.”

“Oh come on, you have a good sense of style!” Sam said and Trixie crossed her arms with a fake unimpressed look.

“Thank you, but your compliments are gonna get you nowhere, Miss LaRusso.” Trixie winked, “Anyways, I would like to stay but I’ve got somewhere to-” Trixie was interrupted by her phone pinging and looked to see it was Robby once again.

Willy Wonka🍫: Hey, sorry to cancel so quickly but something came up Maybe we could go next week??

Trixie gave the text a funny look before shrugging and turning back to Sam, “Sure, why not? I guess I’m free now.” She said and Sam giggled.

“That’s great! I actually have someone for you to meet.” She dragged Trixie to their backyard before setting her down at the table. Robby and Trixie made eye contact and widened their eyes. “Robby, this is-”

“Bea.” Robby finished her sentence and Sam shot Trixie a confused look.

“We were gonna hang out tonight.” Trixie explained and Sam nodded.

“Well, at least we can skip the introductions, right?” She smiled and Trixie nodded.

“I still need my sweater back by the way.” The two-toned haired girl pointed out and Sam shot her a sheepish smile.

“Nice to see you again, Bea.” Robby waved and Trixie nodded.

“Good to see you’ve still got the haircut, Willy Wonka.” She said and Sam laughed while Robby scoffed.

“Willy Wonka?” Sam shot Robby a glance with a smirk and Robby huffed.

“This is bullying.” He rolled his eyes with a shake of his head.

“Hey, Trixie! Nice to see you again.” Sam’s dad interrupted their conversation with a smile as he patted her shoulder, “This is-”

“They already know each other.” Sam interrupted her dad and Daniel stared slightly before shrugging with a smile.

“Well, it’s a small world.” He smiled as the family sat down.

Miguel rode his bike to the LaRusso house, hoping to talk to Sam's dad. That's all they needed, a talk. He threw his bike onto the ground and started heading for the front door when he heard laughter coming from the backyard.

Tilting his head in confusion, he walked to the backyard and stopped at what he saw. “You had to have fallen off more than once!” Sam giggled as Robby recalled his training session with Daniel earlier.

“Look, I slipped once, but I caught myself and climbed back up, so it doesn’t count.” Robby said and Trixie rolled her eyes.

“If you slipped, then why’d you have to climb back up? You catch yourself and balance but if you climb back up that means you fell.” Trixie pointed out and Robby rolled his eyes.

“Of course Bea out of all people takes Sam’s side.” Robby sighed. Miguel did a double-take, Bea? He knew that it was one of her nicknames she allowed people to call her but everyone usually called her Trixie.

What was so special about this Robby guy that he could call her that? And didn’t she have a date with that ‘Willy Wonka’ guy? Miguel sighed, maybe Robby was that guy… He felt his heart drop. Not only did his girlfriend have another guy over but he had his best friend wrapped around his finger. He wasn't sure which bothered him more…

I can definitely see the appeal for hmmk and I sometimes vibe with fanart for it, but I significantly prefer them in a platonic/familiar sense than a romantic/sexual sense. A very unpopular opinion but idc haha

Honestly the only ship I like for Herlock is vanlock, I really don't care for any of the others.

I know it's canonically disproven and doesn't really track for his character, but I like to sometimes think about a Herlock that gave up smoking & hard drugs when he became Iris' guardian

Though this was from the fan translation of the game years before the localization came out, the classic Herlock line "That deduction was so hot you'd hardly believe this detective is single." (I can't find it rn but I'm pretty sure that was the line. I also love his offer of jumping into a caldron of boiling wax for what equals ~16.4mil£ in today's money lmao)
