I wanted to project my period cramps to Adaphne (using Luigi as a conduit), but I fucking hate her design even more than I do her personality so I had to redesign her first.

yes, this was way too much effort to go through just to draw a character I strongly dislike having cramps, but I did it anyways. notes on my redesign of her under the cut.

I tried to simplify her colour palette (since she canonically looks like a goddamn clown in colour) and make it a bit of an inversion of Technikki's (including the touch of the other's colour), given their whole... situation. also the shapes in her design fucking sucked so I had to fix that too. tried to keep the general ideas (ie. the eyelash shape, the poofs, the sort of bob, the screw earrings) but just..... make them look better. also I made her face a type I plug instead of keeping her weird >- eyes and gave her goggles/sunglasses just because they fit her whole "glamourous scientist" vibe.
