Optics of verdant study the man's change in demeanor, though internally cringing from the obscene assault brought unto her sense of taste. Despite her distaste for the poor attempt at a joke and the fact that another mortal was taking another God from her, mendacious would it be for her to claim he wasn't trying to connect with her. That never came as an easy feat without a price having to be paid, usually at her expense.
A solemn expression decorates the seductress' visage as the analyst's tone of voice shifts to one of mourning. She could sense his love for Loki. His hesitance to let that love be known because what would be the outcome and would it be better or worse than the life he'd already grown accustomed to? Amora and Mobius were similar in that regard. Though she despised the idea of sharing Loki, she found herself pitying and sympathizing with the man across from her more than envying him in that moment.
A projection of both Mobius and Amora's love for Loki was conjured by her, in that moment of unspoken, mutual understanding of one another. The life-like projection of Loki didn't talk, but he smiled at both of them and happily ate his pie. And, for Amora, that was enough. She took another spoonful of pie into her mouth and nodded thoughtfully.

❛ It would appear you were right, after all. Loki would consume something like this. ❜

yeah, it had been a... poor attempt at a joke. at his usual brand of quips and comments but... was it really that surprising that it didn't quite have that spark that it usually would have...? he hadn't exactly been all that good at hiding the fact that since what had happened... since loki had taken his place out there with the timelines, with the branches... he hadn't exactly been his usual self.
and maybe that was silly. maybe it was selfish. nothing had ever been established, he'd never even put things into words because... well, how would he? how would that work? it didn't matter now, did it? loki was doing what he felt was right and necessary. he was doing it for the good of everyone, for the good of the timelines, but... mobius missed him.
all the adventure and spark and colour that loki had brought to his previously repetitive and somewhat mundane life...
and at first, he was caught off by the sudden, so life-like appearance of loki in the seat between the two of them. - but it wasn't rocket science to soon realise that it was amora that had somehow conjured that projection of him. ...that being said, he still couldn't help but focus on the way this loki only seemed to focus on amora. couldn't help the ridiculous spark of jealousy that it brought up in him.
" yeah. he did. " response came with much less of an attempt to be chipper than previously, and now he was the one simply prodding at his slice of pie.
