if there is one person wren had not wanted to tangle with, even in her own time at validar’s palace, it was her big sister aversa. the older woman screams confidence & seduction. in her younger years, wren had always looked up to aversa.

but being thrown back in time to retrieve her brother, away from the influence of validar and his dark magic, has given the younger woman a certain amount of clarity. the clarity to know that their father is wrong.

being faced with her elder sister once more is... jarring.

“ aversa. “

she knows, full well, she ought to be on guard. as it stands, however... her arms hang by her sides, shoulders relaxed.

“ i see you are well. “

@shepherdsinthehouse ♥’d for a starter!

if there is one thing wren can appreciate, it’s the appetite of the shepherds. stahl in particular. not once has she raised her voice in concern about how much the man eats, as his metabolism seems to be fast enough to keep him fit. the mess tent is a popular place to relax, some shepherds sneaking treats in between training sessions, others just lazing about in the shade offered up.

this day, however, has wren sneaking around the tent as though none can see her, a plate piled high with meat. quite an uncommon occurrence for the tactician, who typically eats modestly.

assured she is going to get away without being caught, wren finds herself scurrying out the flap, only to collide with stahl.

“ stahl! naga, i’m sorry -- i didn’t see you coming in! “

chrom’s curious moods are not a stranger to wren. no, the man gets far too cheeky far too often for it to even so much as cause a flinch. instead, she merely shifts her head to the side to accommodate for his presence & lifts the book so he can get a good look at it.
