Jasper was trying to impress the pretty new girl when he could but after a diet of questionable animals and berries he could not help but be grateful for real food. He had half a piece of bread in his mouth before he noticed her walking up. He nervously smiled before trying to speak through a mouthful of food. “Oh hey Maya.” He todl her, trying to catch crumbs that fell out.

It had been about an hour since Jasper was released from lockup, since his large burn from being shocklashed on his back was treated, since he talked to Wanheda Clarke before he left. After Jaha berated him for his pranks, and that he had to attend work detail to get a spot in the lottery, Jasper decided it was a good idea to take a walk outside the walls instead. Admiring the green forests and the bright blue sky, Jasper wondered what it’d look like when the death wave came, he figures he’ll see it when it comes and finally takes him.

He’s been walking for a while, where was he walking to? Wherever the day took him he supposed. Is interest is piqued, however, when he spots a cave that is holding supplies in it. Jasper quite recklessly decides to go investigate further in the cave, not caring what could be awaiting him, at the worst he’ll have an early death, at least he will be at peace.

he feels as if they’re running out of time. forty some odd of his people are in that mountain. running on limited moments before another is taken to have their bone marrow extracted. there’s words set on repeat inside his mind, like a record broken and reminding himself ‘ can’t lose more people ’ it’s enough to feel extreme pressure on his shoulders. carrying the weight of too many deaths if he can’t get them out. and it’s as if someone is on his side - thanking whoever up there for sending maya his way. when they finally make it to the room where two men stand guard ( bellamy in his uniform, gun out ) and one of his people are saved ( fox - ‘ you’re alright ’ ) eyes dart to the bodies on the floor and he feels no guilt this time … these men would have killed her.

sixty seconds. he takes just one minute to turn to maya. “thank you,” his tone is full of sincerity. eyes filled with tears begging to spill in gratitude. in worry. in everything. a small smile curves onto his lips and he leans forward to place his lips on her cheek. “i wouldn’t be here without you.”

     Welcome to The Capitol, otherwise known as Panem. For years now, we have been kept entertained by our twelve districts for our annual Hunger Games. Each district must offer up a tribute, one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18, to enter an arena and fight for glory. However, only ONE can remain. Victory brings you wealth, recognition, fame and —– life.

     However, the scent of rebellion is in the air, my friends. It seems the districts are ready to fight back against the terror President Snow and the Capitol has brought upon them.

Stronger than fear is an open group verse based on the hunger games. tributes aged from 12-18 will be accepted. two per district. one male and one female. two mentor positions are available per district, chosen from past winners. the teams in the capital include publicists, stylists, chefs, and rich sponsors to support the tributes.  the possibilities are endless.

Okay, guys so I’m back from my few days out of town and it’s been a help to the anxiety that has been building from the anticipation of my second year of college, work, playing on competitive sports teams, and probably working myself too hard on Jasper. 

Now for the part you guys actually give a shit about, I’m going to put my head down and finish all of my replies. So @bigbrotherbellamy , @atoneddhero , @greaseveined , @hisprometheus ,@basiicphysics , @conclavewon , @smxrtenough , @madecommander , @irrcdiiatedx , @damnmechanic , @wanblida , @winnesblida , @xnctafraid your replies should be coming in the next hour or so, maybe two depending on how Jasper is.
