q’rhurh definitely gets protective, but more in a familial / friend sense than anything? like if you’ve earned her trust and she considers you a friend, you’ve gained her loyalty for life.

E   :   EMBRACE.   does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like?

q’rhurh loves hugs. her hugs are very tight, maybe too tight, a surprising amount of strength for someone so small, but they’re not crushing in the sense that it’s too much; it’s more like she doesn’t want to let you go once she’s got you in a hug. her life has been about her family’s tribe sticking and travelling together, and since she understands her friends can’t follow that life, she just hugs them for as long as she can.

L   :   LOVE.   who does your muse love?

just because of the threads i’ve done with them, q’rhurh loves din ( @djaryn ) & boba ( @cuyanir ), considering them both close friends and more like family than anything else; she loves her mothers too, and her bantha, kts’rah-ah, and her anooba, ton ton-- she honestly has a lot of love to give, for her tribe and for pretty much every animal as well.

q’rhurh going off-planet for the first time and seeing a large body of water and she honestly just cries and wants to stare at it until someone says she can like. go into it to swim but she doesn’t understand because of how important and sacred water can be to the q’hu’mhum’gah so someone says she can drink but she wants to talk to the people native to that planet first to ask for permission

okay. so. i have been using asl to describe what q'rhurh is signing in replies, but now knowing tsl (tusken sign language) was created using a mix including plains indian sign language, i'm thinking of switching my methodology; however, because the fc i'm using for her is aboriginal, a larrakia woman to be specific, i'm planning on looking into isl (indigenous sign language) to stay more accurate and respectful of her people and heritage, only because there are so few records of larrakia sign, and even then from what i can find it's more a supplement to oral tradition than a true sign language, so i think isl might be my closest bet.

all q’rhurh has known is life on tatooine. born in the dunes near mos taike, she was raised by her two mothers, h’thaarr kroqhok and rhezto qazdorq; her tribe, however, picked up shortly after a hard drought hit the settlement and nearby camps, instead seeking to find resources elsewhere. growing up, q’rhurh was filled with a natural sense of adventure; the journeys her tribe would make across the dunes and canyons of tatooine were far more exciting than tiresome to the young uli-ah, always eager to meet passing tribes or jawas and see new animals native to different places across the desert.

in fact, it was with the animals that q’rhurh found her calling; always having a special affinity for them, she could easily make friends with any creature she came across, from the banthas her tribe would travel with to dune boars and even packs of anoobas. although she didn’t understand it, the crux of this ability came from a force sensitivity she did not know she had; as she grew older, and more comfortable and capable with this talent of hers, she would go out with the other hunters, using animals she had connected with to help aid them.

now grown, q’rhurh has proven herself invaluable to the tribe; even beyond her skill with animals, she’s an adept hunter, tracker, and liasion: many times she’s stepped forward to speak to other tribes, groups of jawas, and even passing non-native travellers within the sands of the desert in order to trade, make deals, or form alliances. although extremely rare, q’rhurh has gone into small settlements in order to trade scrap with jawas who were in the town.

q’rhurh is able to speak tusken, jawaese, and huttese, as well as sign in a tusken dialect, basic, and a bit of slang in jawaese. she understands basic, but cannot speak it.

q’rhurh has an anooba as a constant companion. his name is ton ton, which is jawaese for sand; she named him that due to his sandy coloring.

when q’rhurh turned 18, per q’hu’mhum’gah customs she was bonded to a male member of her tribe named kuorrur'okrurs'rror, as were their banthas. when q’rhurh turned 22, kuorrur'okrurs'rror was killed while attempting to defend another tribe’s well from settlers. his bantha returned riderless, and a ceremony was held. q’rhurh continued to care for his bantha, until it bonded with a newly adopted member of their tribe who hailed from another out past the dune sea; they had been wandering the desert, having lost their own mount, and were accepted into the tribe before eventually bonding with kuorrur'okrurs'rror’s bantha.

after kuorrur'okrurs'rror’s death, q’rhurh did not remarry by choice, although the option is always available to her should she choose.

okay, so after much consideration, i’ve settled on miranda tapsell as the face claim for q’rhurh! as such, i’ll be working to learn about the larrakia people in order to make sure i am as respectful as possible with anything i may write!
