There were only two people that made Kaeya go absolutely rabid, and that was his beloved star Ajax, and his brilliant sun Lumine. They both drove him insane in the best of ways, as well as the not best of ways sometimes—and right now was a mix of both.

His darling Honorary Knight had thought it funny to pull an innocent little prank on him, one that had him standing rigidly as he had suddenly become sopping wet. The two decided to go on a nice stroll together along the beach, wishing to spend some time with one another after Kaeya had taken so much time working on some inventory for the Ordo. It was high time for him to take a break, especially since Lumine was having one of her own from her arduous adventures!

However, he certainly didn’t expect her to suddenly gain a mischievous streak and use her hydro attunement to douse him with salty sea water, cackling at the sight of him standing frozen like a dog that just got hosed down. Of course, this was only before she switched to her anemo attunement and blasted him with a gust of wind in ‘attempts’ to quickly dry him off. Yet, all it did was cause his hair to look an absolute mess and his clothes to feel tacky and gross from the salt that still clung to them.

He honed in on the Traveler, who shrieked and attempted to get away, yet Kaeya immediately blinked in front of her and grabbed her face with one hand. His expression was furious, but in a way that makes you only want to laugh at him more. He swept in and took a big ol’ chomp to her cheek, one that he was sure would leave a nice mark that would last for a good while. Pulling away to admire his work, he huffed triumphantly with a firm nod before cupping her face in both hands now. “You, amica mea, are so lucky that I love you,” he hissed.

Even so, he could never be mad at her. Not in a way that mattered. So of course, the next thing he did was place an annoying, awful kiss to her lips that clacked their teeth together and would later bruise their lips just a bit.
