Name:Calev Ackerman

Gender: Male.

General appearance: Apart from his darker skintone, Calev received most of his genetic looks from his father, boasting pale storm-blue eyes, jet-black hair and a small-looking, stockier mesomorphic build. Luckily, a bit of height was graced upon him, leaving the young man at a decent 5′8′‘, putting him as a dwarf next to most individuals in the New World, but still able to avoid being used as an armrest by many. He suffers from the disease known as ‘Pertpetual dead-eyed bitch-face’, inherited from both parents, and as such, has a difficult time appearing as though he gives a shit.

Personality: Cool, collected and ultimately intense, Calev derives a great deal of his self-worth from what he can do for those close to him, which aren’t many. Lacking a personal goal or set of ideals, he will often rely on others to give him the next step, and rarely has a distinct opinion about anything other than himself. The young man’s belief in his own abilities, intelligence and prowess is beyond even the concept of ‘pride’, being capable of learning most things within hours, be it a language, battle skills or even how to crochet. An aimless prodigy, Calev can become somewhat arrogant and reckless if left to his own devices or with someone he does not particularly care for, and will attempt to relieve the issue of  incompatibility with … extreme methods.

Special Talents: Insanely adept with Busoshoku Haki, even if he rarely has a plan of his own, the young man’s will and judgement is intense - he can use Kenbushoku to a degree, but prefers to allow people to tell him their intentions, so it is normally only used for sensing presences. Calev’s mastery over his own body and mind, coupled with a rather compliant nature, allows him to learn incredibly quickly, and as such, he currently has skills ranging from being fluent in fourteen languages to being able to make really good crepes.

Who they like better: It tends to depend on the situation - he tends to get frustrated with them both - even as a small child, they never tended to give him direct commands, and while Levi is better at explaining things, both of his parents are stupidly cryptic and poetic, which didn’t help the incredibly pragmatic nature of the youth. He prefers his ‘father’s company a bit more, as tea actually tastes good, unlike alcohol, and having inherited a bit of Levi’s fastidiousness, enjoys being praised for doing a good job cleaning, which the ‘Bloody Moon’ would usually ignore, not realizing it was a big deal.

Who they take after more: He seems to take after Levi a bit more, but most of his traits and views are a bit of an intense mix between the two. Both parents are headstrong, idealistic, pragmatic, eccentric and very, very protective and caring, but Calev does tend to take after the Clean Freak a bit more in terms of communication(like he has a fucking terrible mouth let me tell you), and views on comrades. He picked up several religious habits from Maveric, praying to the Sea God and making barrels of offerings everywhere he goes, enjoying the concept of being loved unconditionally, as long as he never eats a Devil Fruit.

Personal headcanon: Due to his mixed heritage, an Ackerman and a former World Noble, his version of the fabled ‘Ackerbond’ is a bit skewed, making the need to protect turn inward, causing him to become a bit unstable when it comes to his own survival and well-being. Whether or not he can bond to someone else, remains to be seen, as he hasn’t actually found someone a kin to nobility needing to be guarded.
