A small smile bloomed across his lips, letting her know it's okay even if it's anything but. How odd, though... calling herself awful. He tucks the scarf back into his coat and brows gently knit at the odd pang of deja vu. It was an eerie flashback of Lucy Gray still stuck behind the zoo bars saying he seemed like a good man. He had to force himself to snap out of his headspace. "You think I have a nice way about me?" Eyes grew back some light, it was like having the impossible done... redoing everything and having Lucy Gray still see him in a nice light again, as a person who wasn't a monster in her eyes.
