also i don't agree that eddie being a murderer makes him just like the joker. i never really agree much with the joker and riddler comparisons - their characters are completely different (unless you get a bad writer who just writes him like the joker). and yes, perhaps, sadly, a lot of writers do just write eddie killing people for the hell of it like joker would. but like. TAS, reeves movie, and even ark to an extent shows that eddie can have totally different motives than joker for killing (typically political, or personal grudge / revenge motives). him being a murderer doesn't necessarily mean he has to be a serial killer without cause.
