still on my rabbit hole of beta / unused tek content and is it me or does beta tag 1 jin look more jin like?

he has more "emotion" (and nipples) in the final version, but he doesn't look as wide - eyed.

interestingly enough, beta xiao also doesn't look as wide eyed, and even looks a bit more "real" because of this. another interesting thing is that her pigtails are longer, looking like her school alt pigtails than her default short ones from 3. i wonder what the change was for? because i might even prefer how the beta looks. my guess is that, since this was one of the first games for PS2, they wanted to show off the graphics - therefore, the wider eyes can really show how "expressive" models can be compared to the "paint on" pixelated faces of the PS1.
