Tumblr talks about Avatar: The Last Airbender like it’s a perfect show, but for me the final season was definitely a step down from the previous two in multiple ways, and I’m realizing a lot of those are the same things that disappointed me about the final season of The Lion Guard:

-The already overpowered hero becoming even more overpowered (Aang randomly gaining the ability to energybend in the battle with Ozai, Kion gaining the ability to earthbend and waterbend with the Roar) -The fire villain being defeated in a nonviolent but ultimately anticlimactic and unsatisfying way -The increased focus on romance and all the main characters being paired off in the finale despite being literal children
