#i just want to confirm that it's a bahasa malay speaker singing in indonesian!!#there are so many schwas!!!#so either they do that in certain dialects within indonesia (cool if true!) or this person speaks malay from malaysia or singapore#or maybe very southern thailand but i think the rest of the vowels would sound different#also the t in sejatiku is palatalized but as a ts like in canadian french#not sure what the distribution is on that but i also only know a handful of cooking words in malay#+ some borrowings from sanskrit & arabic that are basically the same in languages i'm actually semi-conversant in
