kk3 really missed the mark when it came to the concept of terry teaching daniel about hand conditioning, which could have been paralleled with miyagi introducing him to kintsugi. terry appropriating & thereby disgracing legitimate training techniques purely for the sake of sadistic self-indulgence vs miyagi expressing his love for daniel through art
