I dont even know#'problematic' representation of ugly mental illness is something that can be so personal#insert an intersection of the madman as the monster trope (bad) with the monster as something sympathetic trope#something worthy of being loved- doomed as it is#not to paraphrase Basil Hallward but i think i've put a bit too much of myself in that one and anyone that looks too close could see it#h
