those who don't believe that the evil queen and snow weren't in the world's worst situationship are lying to themselves because eq literally broke all the rules of destiny she could do (performing the role of the dark fairy, taking over wonderland, stealing the storybook of legends) yet she kept the snow white fairytale alive. she could've killed snow's future husband/apple's dad and let snow sleep forever but she didn't. snow could've had eq executed for her crimes of overstepping destiny but decided to keep her in a prison where she could touch no one but it also meant that the prison PROTECTED eq from anyone who wanted to get revenge. this is toxic yuri baby

I know people go off on Apple when she says; "but Briar, we all have our part to play" however I think it's clear this line has been drilled into her by authority figures a thousand times, which we see throughout the series from both Grimm and her Mother.

You can tell in the past there may have been times she's tried asking related questions about stories and ways to go "off the page" but as a result she received the "we all have our part to play/we all must do our part" line as an answer and sort of as a "comfort" with the explanation that everyone must play their roles or "poof"

Yes, it was insensitive and a bit ignorant of her to say that to Briar but imo she was only reciting to Briar the same thing that she has had fed to herself for years, like a sick and twisted way of "comforting" them both and that all of this will be worth it for their "happily ever afters."

She's not the delusional, selfish girl a lot of the fandom has made her out to be, she's scared. She's been raised with the belief that nothing good comes from straying from your story and seeing those closest to her (Raven, Ashlynn, Hunter, and now Briar) not want to follow their respective stories? It TERRIFIES her!

She loves her friends and being raised knowing all the horrors that come with not following your story petrifies her for her friends' sake. She's divided between wanting them to be happy but also not wanting them to vanish and endanger others in their stories.

Ever since I was little, I’ve had this theory that Dopey from Snow White is actually just a human baby that the dwarfs took in thinking he was simply a “dopey” adult dwarf. Like, he doesn’t have a beard (or hair), he doesn’t have teeth, he doesn’t talk, his dwarven clothes are too big for him, and he has no idea what he’s doing.

One or two of those could make sense, but the only thing he has in common with the dwarfs is his small stature, and even then, his proportions seem different from theirs! That’s no dwarf! That guy is a baby! It’s “Elf” all over again with this dude!
