Those of us with average beauty will be condemned to being second choices to friends with "high" beauty?
The first mistake begins when you identify with the title of this post. You don't have average beauty, you just don't accept that you're as beautiful as your friends. "But they always hit on them and not on me" You need to understand that no matter how beautiful you are, not everyone will reciprocate and also that someone not wanting you or wanting you has nothing to do with your beauty. The truth is that we are taught to compare ourselves with the media, with society's standards, when in reality we have to see the beauty that is in us both inside and out.

Maybe all I need is to gouge the longing out of my throat, offer it to the moon goddess, and melancholically disappear down the beach rocks into the ocean.
Maybe then, I will finally be cured.
