You know, it’s weird being a British Venom fan because sometimes you hear these takes from Americans about how tame Let There Be Carnage is and how the film should have been R rated, and here’s me having to show photo ID to prove I was over 15 to see the film here in the UK. 😂

Not that I’m necessarily against the idea of an R rated Venom film, but… what, you’re seriously telling me that’s not enough? We see Carnage literally tongue someone to death and Cletus Kassidy break Eddie Brock’s kneecaps with a hammer. In what universe is that considered not violent? Would the addition of extra blood and gore really have made that much of a difference?
