Things I’ve texted my roommates as things Zuko would have said while sick (you know, after he did one nice thing) when they were in Ba Sing Se…

also I kind of extrapolated from that moment because for some reason I hc Zuko to get sick quite a bit (many moons at sea can change a man)… so this is all things Zuko would say, but in the context where he is sick and just being his dramatic gay self about it 🙃👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨

Side note: we were all sick at some point in the last 3 months and we are all pretty dramatic so it’s perfect for Zuko

My body is fighting a battle that cannot be won

I woke up at 4 am drenched in sweat and then I watched call the midwife

Every 5 minutes I cough up a lung

I am withering away from illness

I am bundled in a blanket while Katara spoon feeds me soup, Suki combs my hair. And Sokka wears a stupid jester costume and provides me with entertainment. (Sokka and Zuko are lovers in this situation I can’t help it)

The phlegm in my esophagus won’t leave me alone…

Just coughed up the phlegm it looks like vaginal discharge (just kidding Zuko would not know what vaginal discharge would look like because GAY)

I only might be sick My tummy hurts. My body is fighting a battle that cannot be won

I’m on the toilet rn

Turns out I’m not sick and I was just thirsty???
