(old art) a gravity falls comic from september 2022: "sleepover"
i debated on whether i even wanted to put this on my new blog since the formatting + text is hard to look at and the quality is godawful (not by accident either. for some reason i just drew it that way) plus i don't like how it looks overall anymore. but i'm still proud of the writing and i know a lot of people appreciated this comic in the past, so i may as well post it again :)
(This is an old animatic I forgot to post, so I’m not very happy with the art, but I’m too lazy to polish it up)

I thought it was fitting, you know, to match Jamil’s ‘nothing new’ animatic I made. It’s sad really that the phrase “nothing’s new” fit both Jamil and Kalim so well.
Kalim is used to betrayal, he cant trust anyone, but he had always believed or hoped that Jamil would be the one person he could trust. Only for him to then backstab him like everyone else. As the song says, he’s not naive; he’s been here before. He wanted to trust, to believe in Jamil. I think he spend many hours crying to himself, replaying the events of book 4 and earlier, wondering what he should’ve done to change what happened, what went wrong, what HE did wrong. And in the end he, again, has no one.
I’m reposting some of my old art, so might as well post this too. For context, there was a trend on twitter last year or so where you combine your favorite male and female fe characters. So here’s Dimitri/Celica
This was from Laketober 2020! I believe the prompt for this day was "Paradise", which is probably my favorite game in the series. I was so happy with how the lineart turned out on this one that I decided to go full color with it.
Old sketch from 2021 (i think) when i was listening to in our bedroom after the war and thinking about the deleted beginning scenes from Winter Soldier
