Loving is not something we do to or for other people. It is a blessing, a gift we give to ourselves.

7 & 17 please? :)
17. What inspires you?
art, nature, and music :)
7. Favourite works of all time excluding your own?
I'll go under the cut with this answer bc there are too many haha
Mikhail Vrubel - The Demon Seated. My all-time fav, love Vrubel, love his style and themes.
2. Caspar David Friedrich - Abtei im Eichwald. Caspar is my favorite artist and I love everything he painted. But this one painting...speaks to me on a whole new level, it's so mysterious and calm.
And I must say that I love german romanticism paintings in general.
3. Arkhip Kuindzhi - Moonlit night on the Dnieper. Kuindzhi is one of my fav landscape painters because he manages to perfectly capture the state of nature in the current moment; looking at his works I can feel the temperature, how humid the air is, the wind, etc.
4. Nicholas Roerich - Remember. He's one of my biggest landscape inspirations.
5. Ivan Shishkin - At the edge of a pine forest. Shishkin is good.
6. Mikhail Nesterov - The Ufimka River. I love Nesterov's work for the overall atmosphere and his landscape for this late autumn feel.
7. Lucjan Wędrychowski - Temptation of St. Anthony. This one loks muuuuuch better irl!
8. Stanisław Masłowski - Wschód księżyca. Very mesmerizing, especially irl.
9. Heinrich Lefler and all his artworks tbh.
10. Mila Von Luttich...it's hard to pick one fav, I just love her style and her compositions are so original and unusual!
11. Yuri Vasnetsov and his children's book illustrations! Grew up reading books with his artworks and they still are very dear to me.
12. Araki Hirohiko - and it's difficult to pick one but I really love this one.
13. Concept art by Adam Adamowicz, especially this big collection of concept art for The Shivering Isles DLC. The details, the compositions, the atmosphere...immaculate, 12/10.
