It’s been a while again, can you give us a quick post to let us know that you are okay please? You have us worried. x
Another ask: You haven't online for a while and day after day it's terrifying me. I know you have no obligation to keep us informed but please, I beg for some sign that you are still alive.

Hi! Thank you for worrying about me! The consequences of constant bombings caught up with Ukraine and with Kyiv in particular, so now we spend at least half of the day without electricity. It's on for 4 hours, then off for 4 hours. So I've been trying to do my job-related tasks when the electricity is on, and then write my fics when it's off. Which left me with very little time for other online activities.
I don't know if it'll be good or bad news, but both chapters I'm working on (Tomarry and Batjokes ones) are getting uncontrollably long! And I mean, way longer than I expected. I might still manage to update one of these stories until the end of May, but it could also take a little longer. At least the size will be a pleasant surprise, especially for Tomarry readers.
Wanna see how Russians hunted civilian cars in Kyiv region in March 2022?
Surreal now that it was all happening some 15 km from where I lived and I followed the local chats crying that "People, don't evacuate by the road leading to Zhytomyrska highway! Russians are hiding among trees off road there and shooting down civilian cars!!" in real time - and now I can actually see it happening on recovered footage from street cameras. Surreal.
Life goes on for Ukrainians - reassembling yourself from the pieces after each Russian attack
The Ukrainian army is doing unimaginable with the resources they have. Don't postpone your help even further. We every day lose people because of ignorance. How many of us must die to receive support? Or our lives just don't matter to the world in the first place.
Please keep spreading our voices and donate to our army and combat medics (savelife.in.ua, prytulafoundation.org, Serhii Sternenko, hospitallers.life, ptahy.vidchui.org and u24.gov.ua).
January 2015: People in Kyiv light candles in honour of the over thirty people killed and over a hundred injured in a russian rocket attack on Mariupol, Ukraine.
A dear filmmaker friend of mine recently congratulated me & said "you have achieved what 95% of filmmakers never achieve - you have actually made a film."
My directorial debut The Battle for Kyiv premieres in London in less than 48 hours, and I can't wait to share it with you.
