Drabble: That Girl Is Mine (Yandere!Xavier x AFAB Reader)

Content: Xavier has a tad bit of an obsession, well maybe more than a tad. You are all he sees.

Rating: T for possessive behavior

He pretends to be asleep, eyes closed, face relaxed, loose in his desk chair. And because he has made a habit of this, made it a part of his personality you as always expect nothing. You think he is asleep. And that is exactly what he wants.

It didn't take long to figure out that you act differently when you think he's asleep. It allows him to observe you without you being aware that you're being watched and listened to. That he is catagorizing every action, every trait, ever menial little adorable habit you have. 

You have many habits, Xavier loves every single one. Nothing you do is disgusting or wrong. Everything is lovely. Just right. 

The way you chew on your lip when no one is watching. The way you make faces when typing up reports, or pretend to be a chomping Wanderer. It is all so so so perfect. 

He sees you start to turn, Xavier closes his eyes again. 

Waiting until it's safe he opens his eyes and finds you looking at him. He yawns, rubbing the false sleep from them, "What did I miss?" He mumbles. 

Your cheeks have turned this lovely rose pink. Like the light trailing through an open window on the edge of dawn. He smiles, how can he not smile? You're so beautiful. 

He wants to tell you, longs to tell you. But he doesn't, because he doesn't know what he will do if you reject him. And Xavier likes the way things are now, you still think he's napping all the time. You let him rest his head on your shoulder on the train. 

Twice he has 'locked' himself out of his house just so he could sleep on your couch. Bury his face in the cushions and smell you there. And if he's lucky sneak into your room to watch you sleep. You sprawl in your dreams and he wishes that he could be the sheets you have daintly thrown yourself across. 

Xavier cannot rush this, he must be careful, cautious. No one must know. 

Zayne knows. 

Somehow the doctor figured it out, or at least some smaller rendition of it. That or he's just jealous of what Xavier has with you. The two of you are unique, special, untouchable. 

Zayne wants to touch you. Xavier knows he wants to touch you. 

He worries silently that you want to touch the doctor back. 

Or that you want to find out what it's like to be railed by that snarky artist friend of yours down by the beach. He won't tolerate it, can't stand the thought. It upsets his stomach just thinking about it. 

Yes, he'll do whatever it takes to make sure he is the only option for you to consider. Xavier has to be be the only option.

a while back i had a bunch of superhero ocs i designed in a lego marvel game (i forger which one. it might’ve been avengers but it also might’ve been marvel superheroes) and ended up with a girl who was functionally a speedster but Actually could manipulate time, speeding it up or slowing it down relative to herself. anyway there was a plot point involving her getting shot and manipulating time so that she would bleed out slowly and her friends would have a better opportunity to Actually Help her. which i still think is cool despite having absolutely no recollection of her name or what she looked like

Going through Kalos feels like deja vu, though he doesn’t get solid memories in place for the most part. But the further he goes, the more he feels he’s done this before, he’s seen this play out before. It wrecks his heart to be walking through Parfum Palace and the man he knows to be his father, doesn’t recognize him in the least. Their relationship had been terrible frankly, but the fact that he knows this to be true and then it suddenly wasn’t, it tears him apart. The only thing worse is when he runs into Dani who doesn’t know him at all anymore, and Reggie... something about Reggie’s presence even if he had remembered Xavier, something hurts about it much more than anything else.

He was about to head into Route 10 when the Holo Caster rings-- seems Professor Sycamore wants to see him in person to talk about his Pokedex. It’s a bit of a walk back but he doesn’t really mind it honestly, it gives him a little time to think before he faces him again. Always was...weird to see him and Lysandre, which he really hates the way he feels over that. Why does everything have to feel so off with everyone he knows? He knows these people and cares deeply for them.

Even Lysandre was proving to be nice, even though Xavier can’t help feeling somehow afraid of him. 

He wanders into Lumiose with Error at his side, still a Porygon2 since the accidental evolution the last time he’d been at the lab. Making pleasant beeps as he roamed with him, though hesitating in front of the lab.

“I don’t blame you for stopping, last time you were here things were kind of odd huh?” He smiles comfortingly back at his pokemon. “Nothing to worry about though, I think the professor will be used to your quirks this time.”

“XA-V-IER?” Error asks with a tilt of the head, making the trainer shudder and pat him.

“Try to call me Calem in there, I know it’s not right, but we have to work with it for now.”

He gave a solemn beep, before following Xavier into the lab.
