everyone will always be haunted by what they are and i believe it is far more beneficial to embrace the haunting (as long as it isn't derailing your life or others') than to strive to be a truly "balanced" person. the idea of someone who is truly equalised to the point of utter harmony is an essentially unachievable thing imo

#too nice/kind/giving and you neglect yourself. focus on yourself and you neglect others #you love things too much and it consumes you. not enough and you are numb. meditate too much and you neglect life #not enough and life neglects you. speak your mind and you are sometimes abrasive. dont and you will sometimes be a pushover #etc etc. overly academic or too unconcerned. is politics your life to the point where you ignore the small mundane things around you?#are you so unconcerned with politics that you end up unaware of critical factors that harm or help your environment #like obviously not everyone is imbalanced in everything ever but #there is at least something at least one thing (and likely many more) that haunts everyone yk #and like. i think w some of these things as long as the haunting doesnt harm you to the point of derailing your life etc its...ok to be #haunted. or else you risk no longer being who you are. change and growth are essential but sometimes when youre upset you still say things #you dont mean or when you feel in love with your friends you offer to pay for their coffee even if you dont have money. you can fluctuate #and.change and grow but sometimes its ok to be haunted by who u are.#like i think the idea of being truly in harmony as a final destination for ur being is essentially bs. why would the monks spend their lives #meditating? its an active effort yk.#youre at the dj booth. youre tuning the violin every time you play. youre constantly adjusting your glasses.

Just so we are all on the same page: I was not meant to "work", I was meant to be in a ball room with a dagger strapped to my thigh hidden by the gorgeous dress that I am wearing. The handsome mysterious person who has been in my court for the past few months asks for the next dance and with each step it becomes undeniable that they are my enemy, that it has all been a game and that I want them. With each new cord we let ourselves get lost in the dance, in the anger we now feel, in the desire, in the frustration. The music build towards a crescendo and we dance, they lift me never taking their eyes of mine, and as the the moment passes the bring me back down, our chests touching and I can feel their breathing and they can feel my heart raging. We linger in that moment were we both want to kiss...nothing but desire and then, then the ballroom comes back to life around us with applause, bringing us back to reality. They are my enemy and I walk away. THIS IS WHAT I MEANT TO BE DOING.

reading house of leaves

#i have been to the farnsworth house. there's a small boat house which leads directly into the fox river. it was full of frogs #didn't go inside as it was under construction but i saw that there was a violin sitting on a chair #there was a swimming pool on the property which was completely grown over in either algae or duckweed #the house itself is interesting (exterior walls made entirely of glass) but i thought the property was more interesting #you have to walk a quarter mile through the woods alongside the river to get to the house #in the visitors center they give you a small map with a list of trees that you may see on your walk #there was another building by the visitors center that was wooden and octagonal and inside was an exhibit of plein air paintings

Could your Left beat bluetrochsky's Violin and Accordion?

Left normally wouldn't fight against fellow Toppats unless they were betraying the clan.

But if for whatever reason Left did face off against the two, it would probably be a rough fight for him, especially since he is only 4'11 and Accordion and Violin are much taller and if one of the two went down, the other would fly into a terrifying fury.
