PROBLEMATIC YURI TOURNAMENT IS ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS!
do you have a yuri manga you like that would be considered problematic by some for its content? do you want to see it win a tournament, or perhaps find some new problematic yuri to read through the tournament? has your favourite manga been too dark to submit to other polls? introducing...the problematic yuri poll!
some info about the poll:
this tournament focuses primarily on manga, manhwa, manhua, and webcomics/webtoons. this is not a hard rule, but this is the most accessible format for the mod.
all submissions must be things that would be considered "problematic" in some way. a non-exhaustive list of examples: toxic relationships, abuse, incest, age gaps, yanderes, violence/murder... it can be reasons not listed here, but your submission should be considered problematic for the content itself, not for the creator. the problematic aspect doesn't necessarily have to do with the main couple, as long as it's part of the text itself.
all submissions should be part of the yuri genre. fanon shipping is great, and we may do a poll on couples that allows fanon ships at a later date, but this poll is about yuri manga itself, so your submission should actually be yuri.
please direct all submissions to this form!

the whole ton-aylin situation just doesn't sit right with me.
ton clearly invaded aylin's personal space and said things that made her uncomfortable. it was easy to see, luna even reprimanded him for his behaviour. so why when ton didn't listen and continued, everyone was so upset by aylin's reaction, aylin, who simply couldn't take it anymore? why everyone circled ton and started to help him clean himself, even with luna apologizing on aylin's behalf, while condemning aylin at the same time?
ton was clearly at fault. everyone knows how he is - self-centered, absurd, a little bit disconnected with reality and often making people uncomfortable. he makes ongsa feel uneasy at all times with his unwanted affection. and just one episode before, ton pushed to the edge even charoen, the most kind and patient person in the series, who is extremely serious about buddhist path and morality - enough to make her slap him!
it's not like aylin is weird or out of this world for reacting strongly on someone pushing her boundaries without any care. it's a natural human behaviour and although throwing food at someone or hitting them is never the way, this would have never happened, if the person doing this wasn't freaked out by the other person's behaviour in the first place. they did it out of fear. if charoen could slap him and run away, why aylin can't throw food at him and run away? why one reaction is valid and the other one isn't?
what the group should have done, is to tell ton off and run after aylin to make sure she's alright. it's like they didn't care about her feelings at all and i really don't know why they couldn't understand her.
i get that the writers wanted to show some conflict, take on the subject of bullying and introduce some inner depth of aylin's character, however, this was extremely out of place. luna also behaved strangely in this episode - before, she liked aylin just the way she was. she was compassionate and accommodated to aylin's worldview, respected her choices and boundaries. for her, to suddenly push aylin to change herself so hard, really makes me wonder what happened. before, i actually liked aylinluna more than ongsasun, so it made me super confused.
the way they finished the matter also didn't feel satisfying, i don't even think ton apologized to aylin for what he did.
