So here's my logic behind why I'm experimenting with identifying as bigender while also not identifying as nonbinary -

I'm a binary trans man who occasionally has days where I have no gender and am agender. When I have gender, it is exclusively binary. When I don't have gender, it isn't binary or nonbinary, it's the lack of gender altogether.

Previously, I felt a kinship with and was drawn to the term bigender. But I did not identify with it for the reason above. Binary trans man + agender isn't two genders, it's one gender and a lack of gender. To me, my agender days are a complete lack of gender altogether, so to conceptualise agender as a gender is a bit odd to me. But I know many people do consider it to be a gender, but this is not how I see it for me.

It has dawned on me though that bigender doesn't have to be literally '2 genders' (the same way bisexuality isn't only attraction to '2 genders' either). But that bigender can also accommodate '2 states of gender' - i.e. I experience 2 states of gender where I experience binary manhood and also the lack of gender altogether. Not at the same time though.

The state of gender where I actually have gender is exclusively binary, so I don't identify with nonbinary. Bigender is usually thought of as under the nonbinary umbrella - but in my case it doesn't.

I've identified with the term genderqueer for a while now as well (which is also often put under the nonbinary umbrella but is actually for any person with queer gender - including cis people!) and my new experimentation with bigender fits neatly under that too. Which I like very much!

Take it from a black trans femme who's autistic with a special interest in this genre:Indie means indipendent i.e not 'obscure white boys' or 'white girls only femininity'.It's an aesthetic and lifestyle too yes but one that requires being self-making,low-budjet or preferably both for the best experience speaking as someone who's learning to diy and has been for a while.That's why even though she's famous,Megan Thee Stallion is an indie artist since she's not signed to a record label and earned her success with hardwork and her beloved status by being an activist who enourages universal self-love and why a lot of popular games are still indie because they weren't made by companies and why Taylor Swift isn't because she's a violently hateful nepotism baby who actively uphoalds and spreads white supremacy and the only 'empowering' she's doing is giving power to white woman fragility and the racist men she dates and from research and looking for media to stimulate my spin,there's a lot more indie creators of color than white ones.There's a reason for that btw and there's also a reason why the indie scene is largely whitewashed and unwelcoming to poc despite being more sutible for us.If i say any more though i'll get called a gatekeeper from people who can't name a black female rapper except Meg herself and Nicki Midnaj

Black trans lesbian needs help with living expenses after being homeless during pride month

hello, I'm Equinox, I'm a mixed black disabled intersex trans lesbian who needs help stabilizing after being homeless for a while. i am schizophrenic, autistic, and bipolar, and i have hypermobile EDS, fibromyalgia, arthritis and other health problems. during this Pride Month, it would really mean a lot to receive some assistance with my living expenses. my birthday also falls on June 6th and it would be nice to receive anything at all as I do not currently have the means to celebrate my birthday due to where i'm at financially. a lot of my income goes to my job: shipping supplies, tape, printer ink, jewelry chain, jump rings, clasps, and so on.

my rent is $178/month. I need help saving for July's rent. I also need help saving for my electric bill and internet bill.

*if you're confused by what this means, then your answer is most likely just no. but as an example, this could mean, like... mentally being in the soup for whatever reason, maybe you're tired, or you're dissociating, or you're high or drunk etc or maybe you're just away from society and not thinking about it, and you're temporarily embodying a gender that you know simply has nothing to do with your identity. or maybe you roleplay/act as characters with other genders and get really into the headspace, and maybe you consider that briefly being that gender.

these are both just examples; don't feel limited to them if you're inclined to answer yes with a completely different explanation.
