your newest ethubs piece… i could write a dissertation it's so chock full of details. like. you mentioned already the wedding band from dl impulse v. the cracked clock from ll etho. which is so much already. but the fact that etho himself is the one casting the clock in shade, his fingertips slightly grazing the side of it. and on the positioning of etho and bdubs-- the way etho's right arm is wrapped entirely around bdubs and his left isn't touching but poised to catch bdubs; bdubs not wrapped around etho, even to the point of leaning away, but his right hand around etho's shoulder, guiding etho toward him regardless. and you can't see bdub's left arm completely but the slight bit you can see behind etho implies to me he's like. holding his cheek or his neck or somewhere further upwards than etho's shoulder. agh. it's so good. thank you for sharing!

I just want you all to know that I posted two chapters on two separate fics around the same time. And of those two chapters, my blockmen/Minecraft fanfic chapter got more comments than my Batman fanfic chapter.

Like, I can understand why my end note on the Minecraft one might affect those results (I basically just inform everyone that comments are my main form of motivation when it comes to writing stories so if they want faster updates comments are the best way to do that) so this is technically a biased test--

However, I wanted to just let you all know because this morning, when I woke up to the email notifications, guess which fic I worked on all day today? That's right, the one with more comments. I proceeded to knock out the first draft of an entire chapter.

That might not sound impressive except for the fact that I typed *checks word doc* 11,500 words of the *checks again* 14,300.

IN A DAY.

man. tommy's tribute got me going because the server really is one of the bestest things ive ever got the chance to experience live. it was me discovering fandom. it was me discovering the community behind it. it was me discovering myself because ive uh been kinda suppressing my nd tendencies because its all ive ever known. and just watching a minecraft server get so much heart put into it, so much chaos, so much story just made me realize that hey it's ok to be so passionate about something because the result can be one of the most stunning and beautiful things. tommy and wilbur quickly became my favorite characters and, eventually, ccs. and so i did art. i did art because my mind was going absolutely insane over this silly minecraft server and i had no where else to put that energy. and, you know what, i did get better at it, somehow. little by little. i got to meet amazing analysts, writers, and artists in this fandom. i mean, i feel extremely intimidated by them but there they are!! there's four hundred and fifty of you guys following me. 450. that's more than the population of my old school. holy fuck. all because i decided to make some scribbles about blockmen in a minecraft server. this genuinely has been a lovely experience and will continue to be. i love all the things this community makes, and i definitely feel like its a fandom ill keep coming back to, no matter how much time passes. i really wanna thank mr-scandalous because they invited me over on tumblr, and they practically validated my being nd, but they'll probably make fun of me for being an emotionally clingy sap. so there. uh. thank you guys for being part of the community. to the creators and the consumers and the artists and the writers and every girlblogger out there. im just so happy i got to be part of this
