q!aypierre is like a mysterious cryptid to me. I always find out about his shenanigans and they never sound real
he has an infinity gegg machine/shrine in an uncanny liminal grassland? he built a furry camp out in the woods? his bed is becoming cursed to every qsmp member? he slingshot exploded the federation, rickrolled cucurucho & apparently stole a lightning summon tool off the code’s body?

Queen I'll more than "Hear him out" I absolutely promise, Maxson can go to hell- I'm NOT killing a friend in cold blood just because of where and how he was born!!!!

🐆 I will write the name as we know it- how its written in Hebrew- how it pronounced (only if it is any different)- the meaning. Hope you like it and it makes it more fun to understand for you! Lucifer- לוציפר- technically came from the Christian interpretation of a quote from the bible that said something about the falling morning star. It was probably said as a proverb at the time, but got translated to an actual person lol and here we are. The falling morning star was written הילל בן שחר- Hilel Ben Shahar, I can go for hours on the different meanings it can be.
Mammon- ממון- pretty old word, not being as used, means some kind of wealth. If it's an actual used word, usually only in very official documents to describe monetary value or extreme wealth.
Leviathan- לוויתן- it is written the same in terms of pronunciation, but sounds different. You can copy how I wrote it in Hebrew and listen in google translate. Everyday word, literally means whale.
Satan- שטן- written the same, pronounced slightly differently. Means the devil. Demons by the way are called שדים- shedim, but if you say only demon- שד in a slightly different emphasis on a letter and its a boob. Just a fun fact
Asmodeus- אשמדאי- Ashmedai He doesn't really come from the Jewish bible but as far as I remember was described in different writings and then later added to the inscription. Supposed to be at some point the kind of demons, and was controlled for a period by king Solomon. There's no specific meaning in the name in Hebrew.
Beelzebub- בעל זבוב- Baal Zvuv Literally means owner of flies, or controller of flies in some cases, he was described in some parts in the bible, usually to mock the god of Pegan religion nearby, or to describe priests who came to shoo away the flies from an upcoming sacrifice? Baal is also often refers to a husband, btw.
Belphegor- בעל פעור- Baal Paur Now this is an interesting one, since if pronounced as it is written in English, Phegor can mean carcass which is a bit more related to Beel's name. But in the bible Baal Paur was described to be one of the Pagan gods who had a disgusting job I refuse to describe. Simeon- שמעון- Shimon a commonly used name, less nowadays though. In my opinion, in Hebrew it's one of the least sexiest name since it's very throaty. But that's my taste. The meaning is from the word "Shama שמע" which means heard, heard by god in the way they referred it to. Shimon was one of the kids of a famous figure in the bible.
Solomon- שלמה- Shlomo Everyone probably know the name of king Solom the wise. Very common name for what now is the middle-aged generation, the rural you go in Israel the more common the name is lol. My opinion of it is the same as Shimon.
Raphael and Michael are both known too, and pronounced pretty much the same, though Michael is more like Mikhael, מיכאל, his name means high praise to the god. Raphael sounds the same, written רפאל, Rafael, Rafa usually means healing. For all the angels that have "EL" in the end- El means god. So it's healing from god, protection from god and so on. Luke is from the Christian version, so I leave it be. Barbatos, Mephisto, Diavolo, don't really have relation from what I can remember to the Jewish bible or Hebrew nor do they have a translation into any specific words. The more I think about the more it makes me appreciate how well they have written the story, only the angels and the fallen ones have names that has a meaning in Hebrew while the demons retain their original form... Or maybe I am reading too much to it... Anyway I had fun thinking about all of this and writing this, and hope you enjoy it too. I presume the water has already been consumed. yes? :)
Woahhhh so much I didn't know about this stuff!
Lucifer our fallen morning star... there's something so poetic about that, even if it is a mistranslation and it was never meant to be an actual being.
Also Belphegor I mean Belphie can be like a carcass when he's dead asleep, right?? LOL.
I wonder why they chose the name Simeon? Heard by god, but is he? I'm always hesitant to think they've got any deeper meanings to these things just because this game is not exactly known for that kind of thing. But I can't help but wonder about it.
Huh that's super interesting that the demons that have always been demons don't have the same origin as the angels or fallen angels. I mean, maybe they didn't do that on purpose, but it's cool either way! I've always loved that Diavolo is just devil in Italian! I can't remember about Mephisto aside from Faust, like I don't know if he's in something else Bible adjacent or not. Barbatos is in the Ars Goetia but that's all I know about that lol. I know very little about these things in general.
Thank you so much for writing this and sharing it with me! I'm always interested in this kind of stuff!
And um yes water, right. I am gonna go do that... right... nooooow lol.

To be honest I never really understood the “I want to study him like a bug” sentiment until Alex Horne. I totally get it now. I want to conduct studies and write peer-reviewed papers about him and his absolutely weird and brilliant mind

i'm gonna start biting. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK
all three are great. 10/10. put me in the ground. ofc julius and elle both surviving is paiiiiiin. (julius probably gets mistaken for elle's dad sometimes and fjdksljfs what does julius even know about victor... the party probably told him what victor said, julius getting to ruminate on a fractured self that would have stopped ludger from killing bisley... one that would have however implicitly defended bisley using elle?)
and elle... who doesn't really know julius as his own person and more just someone ludger occasionally mentioned, suffering because ludger loved julius enough to die for him and that making her identity crisis worse, because surely ludger loved julius more... ofc everyone tries to convince her otherwise, and julius himself is also suffering something similar because, well ludger should have lived and he should have died for that.
there is just pain everywhere... and that's before you get into julius once again looking after a child and being strongly reminded of the person who once cared for them... (ludger is never even going to know about claudia...)
but i am very 👀 about ludger chickening out in julius' fd. i've seen like two... three takes where prime ludger murders fractured ludger and takes his place but, two ludgers...
ludger was a bit young to be mistaken for elle's father even though the other him actually was her father.... but julius is the right age.... and looks a lot like her... how can you blame someone for coming to that conclusion :D (elle can blame them. loudly.) (julius probably makes up some story about something something cousin. nobody is alive to say otherwise )
i typed too much
aside from them being basically nothing to each other at first, the fun thing is julius doesn't remember (never knew-) how to take care of a child ^o^ and this on top of the grief and failure to cope well. so he fumbles so bad. and he can try to be The Authority Figure but that doesn't work too well, esp in the beginning....... elle isn't quite as self-sufficient as ludger was (had to become) at her age, but she ain't a normal kid. he will never be her father or even really her uncle (laughs bc her father murdered the him that was her uncle)? but i imagine they might eventually have something like. a combination of what juiius+ludger and ludger+elle had. living together kinda family weirdly equals. ludger trauma buddies
then maybe elle won't lose it as much when people think julius is her father... not because that's who he is, because she has only had and will only ever have one of those and he's dead too, but because it's less offensive because at least they care about each other now....
BUT FIRST. THE TRAUMA. THE GRIEF. THE FAILURE TO COPE-
i wonder if julius can one day tell elle the things he never told ludger.... she'll tell him exactly what she thinks of him and won't sugarcoat it  is that better or worse..... if he hoped for ludger's forgiveness, one day, she can't give him that on his behalf, but maybe....
as for the julius fd one,,
I THOUGHT ABOUT LUDGER KILLING FD LUDGER. it might even fit considering he is bad in the head enough to threaten to straight up sabotage julius' attempt to fix the world because he wants to keep him so bad... :'D however, consider, instead, Julius Gets Two Ludgers. and the ludgers have to both deal with 'the other guy is the one nii-san really wants' and figure out how to coexist with someone who is basically the same person taking the same space they've always taken up alone. and the ludgers can one day also k*ss each other. i found those very convincing arguments.

This scene where Sam refuses to kill Dream is such a damning and fascinating example of how Sam and Quackity weaponize what they presume (or pretend to presume) to be what Tommy would want.
Sam, with nothing left to cling to but Dream, and who engineered the circumstances that permitted Dream to kill Tommy, doubles down on his conviction that everything he does to keep Dream locked in (which btw included leaving Tommy stuck) has actually been not only for Tommy’s sake but also at Tommy’s behest.
Quackity, who lacking a demonstration of the revive book wants Dream dead, is both incensed at Tommy’s death and sees it for exactly what it is: “a good excuse to just fucking end with it.”

Regarding izombie sketches: Enzo and Blaine? (please believe me when I say that I hate myself for this but unfortunately my brain has latched onto the idea of these two idiots in love so here I am I am so sorry)
I am genuinely intrigued by this concept. He's not the first person I'd ship with Enzo (we don't talk about that) and same with Blaine also I kind of want to study you?? But it's interesting enough that I've decided to half-deliver. I think my favourite part of this as a concept is the incredible capability they each have to make the other so much worse.
Also my contribution to the Blenzo/Enzaine/LamBeers/Debert whatever-you-call-em fandom is my opinion that the objectively funniest time for them to date would be during the triple X church arc but break up just before the finale because it adds so much comedy to the interaction where Angus is like "this is my friend Enzo! :)" and Blaine's "I Know Who He Is" hits different if they had an emotional breakup like the week before. "I Know Who He Is (I blocked his number while winedrunk not three days ago)" also what a Chad move to dump your boyfriend then kill his dad a week later amirite fellow girlbosses?
Feel free to reply on anon again but I'm actually very intrigued on how you came up with them as a thing if you wanna elaborate in my inbox like not mocking I am genuinely extremely curious - I don't think I'll sign up for the Blenzo/Enzaine fanclub but I'll watch through the window I think

Funnily enough I started reading The Psychopath Test yesterday and I was also surprised by the beginning... I read up to Ronson attending the Hare seminar, and so far I like it, even though I haven't learned as much as I thought I would. Anyway, I didn't even think about the chance of Louis not having read the book and just showing it to 'send a message'. It seems right up his alley. Harry reading Ronson's book on being shamed publically and talking about it is much more interesting to me.
Anon 2: Pleeeaaase Ralph do share the messages that you think could resonate with Louis or 1D situation (about the book). It looks super interesting, I might end up reading it
Anon 3:
**********
I'm listening to it on audiobook, so I haven't got very far. I'm part the way through the second chapter and my thoughts are mostly about the first chapter.
I was really surprised by the first chapter, which isn't really to do with psychopaths at all. It starts with neuroscientists receiving very odd packages with a book called 'being and nothingness. They're convinced they're a puzzle that they have to figure out. Then a student posts on Facebook that he'd found some of these books, dropped them off at Douglas Hoftstadter's house (a famous thinker who is referenced in the book) and the house was full of sexy French women that he was hooking up with. One of the original scientists starts doing an anagram of this students name to prove that he's fake - and that they're actually being sent by Douglas Hoftstadter himself to demonstrate something to the people who receive them. Then the student turns up and swears he's real. Then Douglas Hoftstadter is like 'sure I received them from this guy, but my house is not an orgy, it was probably my daughter getting French lessons'. And then it becomes clear that there is no answer to the puzzle, and the guy who sent them was a German guy who was quite disconnected from reality and that's why they were the way they were.
And listening to all that I thought - wow a lot of the dynamics here are what you see in fandom. People seeing patterns in coincidences, people convinced they're the audience for events that are actually about something else entirely, people missing information and so telling stories of their own that completely miss what's going on, and people trying to make meaning from something, while missing the reason it doesn't make sense.
The idea that Louis had read that chapter, and what he would have made of it fascinated me. Whatever the truth is, he's someone who has been the object of a lot of that sort of logic and sometimes it must have touched on something real, and sometimes been very wide of the mark.
At the time, I thought the key word was 'Psychopath' and it was a comment on the situation he was in. But what if he'd just read the book and it resonated with him? What if I was doing exactly the thing about this book that was happening in the first chapter.
