How do you think Jesse felt about Walt by the end of the series?

Hi! First of all, I'm so sorry if this is muddled, but my brain is fried right now :')

I'd like to think he doesn't hate him, if mostly because I don't think Jesse Pinkman is capable of pure hate. Maybe he does hate him, but he has other feelings that complicate that. I definitely think there's no way he can forgive him, after everything he did.

I will say, the mutual look and nod at the end of Felina — an acknowledgement that Walt saved his life and (imo) a goodbye (especially since by this point he knows Walt is dying) — says to me that he has to still care to some degree. He doesn't just get in the car and not look back. In El Camino, he doesn't cry for Walt's death, but he isn't unaffected either.

So yeah, I think Aaron has been quoted saying Jesse hates Walt by the end of the series, but the way I see it (or would like to) hate is not necessarily a cut-and-dry thing. There's room for fondness (or the memory of it) and sorrow and pity too, beside hate.
