A belated gift to my good friend Mitch for his Birthday!
(Only slightly delayed because once you hit a certain age, as I have, you completely forget how to read and write, and mark the date down on your calendar wrong in a sad attempt to make up for your shitty memory lmao)
Anyhoo, it's a continuation in the long standing tradition of drawing various game characters of games we play together as Narwhals.

Been a fan since the Humble Bundle days, so watching it evolve over the last 15 years into something so amazing that is a true joy to play has been like watching a young friend grow up into a super cool person you're glad to know.
So when I saw this scene in Trine 5 I just knew I had to redraw it. 💓
JinJin shared one of her sketches with me the other day and I went into Hyper Fixation Mode™ over they way she drew the face and hair and I simply had to colour it.
So thanks again for letting me do that.
Sometimes it's nice to already have the idea set up so you can just focus on the most fun parts of making art.
If the Halloween license is never going to get any event cosmetics in DbD I'll just make them my damn self, simple as.
I've been sitting on this idea for AGES and finally decided to get around to it, even though its not remotely in season. Whatever, I do as I please!
Wanted the outfit to be a bit more on the simple side for Michael to align with his prestige mask, which I am still of the opinion is the best prestige cosmetic in the game. The less is more approach is totally my thing as far as visual design goes (sometimes lol), and I wanted to use that here, while go polar opposite for Laurie, and have lace and frills and little details everywhere.
Obviously I wanted both outfits to have nods towards the original film, (with the Loomis' gun shots/ Laurie's stab wounds on Michael's torso, and Michael's slash on Laurie's arm) as well as the rad as fuck bleeding eye scene in 2. Regardless of the film itself, we can all agree that the scene was fucking metal. (And would be perfect for DbD in bizarro world where the license holders like money)
I'm a bit late to the party, but I finished my girl's game last night.
It was a really charming little game, and while it wasn't particularly difficult, it clearly had a lot of work put into the visual design, (they way they rendered Peach's hair was gorgeous) and I plan on doing some cute fanart for it, but for now, have a zero context collage of the game.
I hate all of Skull Merchant's cosmetics so much its unreal.
So I made a design to appeal to ME, the main character.
I want her to look EXPENSIVE and to have a COOL robot arm and to have an ACTUAL SKULL mask (that accidentally looks like Bane once I coloured it ooops)
But mainly I wanted her to have a solid and cohesive colour scheme that's present in all three parts of the outfit, as that tends to be one of my main sticking points with her cosmetics, as they tend to be all over the place colour wise. Yuck.
